Come on, you must have a great tag or something, post some pictures.
noooo :tinfoil:
maybe later
Ah ok, yeah just post it later. I'm sure it's great. What kind of stuff do you do?
Why wouldn't you post it now?
the cyber police
Not sure if he's been mentioned yet, but Robbo, the guy who's basically Banksy's rival. There was a documentary about him on Channel 4 the other night. Top guy, great stuff. Looky here if you want to find out more.
the cyber police
Unless you're face is in it, you're holding something incriminating, or you wheat pasted your birth certificate/security card, I think you're fine.

I definitely like him more than Banksy
That article makes him sound less like a top guy and more like a clueless guy. He obviously hugely missed the point of Banksy's piece that started the "feud" (though I get a solid impression that Banksy doesn't give fuck about that either, I see no reactions or counter-pieces, looks like Robbo and his crew are the entirely of the alleged feud)
Judging from both that and the story of him "backhanding" Banksy because he said he hadn't heard of him, he's obviously someone who gets butthurt very easily
As for his great stuff, I can't even FIND anything he's done that isn't a slight on one of Banksy's pieces, or his alteration of that original one to KING ROBBO in huge generic bubble letters in one colour.
Banksy's paint over of that piece didn't start the feud for Robbo, it only did that when he retaliated (since banksy did over several of his works prior)
Even then, Banksy painted over a fellow artists work, which is quite unchill whereas Robbo's rebuke was made so that it gets washed off and preserves Banksy's paintover.
To be honest if someone slapped me at a party for no reason I wouldn't give a shit about respecting their shoddy pieces afterwards. You reap what you sow
I've never liked banksy that much either but this guy seems kind of full of himself. If anything a rivalry should be a fun game, the fact that a piece is a war zone makes it a lot cooler than just being on a hard place to get to. I think Banksy's creativity is tapped out, and has been for a while, and like Mako said, I can't find anything that great of his anywhere. Even the one Banksy tagged over isn't that amazing.
Also, here it is right before Banksy did it:

Didn't look to be in too great of condition to me. If anything it looks like Banksy was trying to pay respect to it by covering up the bullshit, and making it look like a someone pasting it up, unless it's someone removing it with a paintbrush. I understand that that's still covering something that's been there for 25 years, but I don't think he meant any harm.
Here's the best ROBBO tag i can find

very tasteful cover by team robbo
incoming dumb from homemade
Honestly to me it's almost like he's riding Banksy's coat tails to mainstream fame. Even if that isn't what he's trying to do, it's happening. I wouldn't want to be known as "that guy", but maybe he does.
that last pic was covered by a nyc writer.
you probably cant find many pieces from him because he stopped writing a while ago
but he was big on the trains in the 80s
There's a huge spray painted cigarette box filled with blunts coming out of it on a building right next to a major highway coming into St. Louis from Illinois. I find it fascinating how the city
hasn't painted over it yet. What a great first impression to the Easterners. I'll attempt to post a pic of it in the near future.
There's a town called "Lyons" about an hour away from me. I want to get to its "Lyons City Limits" sign and spray the bottom with "get in the car".

Whoa steady on Sherlock
I still fail to see a single piece of evidence why anyone would be into this guy, he's retired with very little to show for himself and has a bandwagon of dickheads. Seems like it's just political, he's a name you can rally to if you don't like Banksy. King Robbo and his army of toys
He just seems like a pretty cool guy, and what he had to say about banksy and the world of street art was insightful
[editline]21st August 2011[/editline]
anyone taking sides in the first place obviously won't be unbiased anyway so trying to convince them is pointless
I pay attention to the art, not so much the person.
Except Fairey.
That guy can suck it.

wow.
he was one of the first writers that started graffiti off in england and from what ive read hes painted more trains than you'll ever ride on.
if you knew anything about graffiti you would understand but i guess you don't so :P
Picked up 2 Black and 2 Red.
I had a folder with 20 stencils I had made in illustrator, but I wiped my HDD and neglected to save them.
Maybe i'll start to throw stuff up again.
How big? and are you gonna put them on paper then paste or just spray?
Easy as fuck to get graff supplies at swap meets, I need a fat cap I haven't used one, and plus I'm down to my last can.
easy as fuck to get graff supplies at your hardware store ;P
to make a fat cap all you do is use a drill bit or a knife in the nozzle to make it fat
or take the cap off a glue spray can
So, I've always wanted to go taggin up some bitch ass buildings in the ghetto. But how would one approach such a task? What's the penalty for being caught by the police? and how do you do it discretely?
>.>
why the ghetto?
practice on paper first (noone wants to see your toy ass tag)
walk to spot
tag wall
walk away
don't tag on houses

the fact that you just said "bitch ass buildings" means you probably dont know what your doing, as does the fact that you dont know the penaltys in your area, it all depends on where you are, google the laws for your city. Grafitti is usually considered a misdemeanor unless it is catagorized as a hate crime (ie: pentagram on a church) or something, and dont be offensive with your art, the law will not be so kind if you put a big joint or something vulgar on a wall.

Do some research.
If you aren't 100% sure of a plan and the penalty if the plan goes wrong, then you shouldn't be doing it.
Yeah like homemade said, don't tag on houses and practice first. People will know if it's bad and you'll be wasting time and paint. Hardware stores are good for cheap paint but there's much better.
If you wanna do graffiti getting arrested is part of the game sorry
I was in Portland Maine a couple weeks ago and encountered some nice graffiti:

Where is Portland did you see that? If you remember.
I live near Portland and if you go back make sure to check out the trains they have tons of stuff on them. Most of it is crappy black tags but you see some cool stuff
