I'm not dropping in with any art just some graffiti related news. There is this abandoned huuuuge building that was for transporting coal and some places for moving stuff around. Two really big buildings and a hallway in between. It's not being used anymore and there was debate what to do about this building so it's wouldn't just be there looking ugly. In the end they payed for spray cans and such supplies and this graffiti group is painting the whole thing! It's not tags and letters it's beautifully graffiti image art. It really makes the whole place look like a beautiful peace of art instead of a stinking abandoned building. Maybe he should develop the style further so it will enhance a buildings looks not ruin it.
barely readable bubble letter
I can read it fine.
well your gonna see more
That would've been as convincing as just posting the previous images again, seriously this stuff isn't original at all [editline]25th August 2011[/editline]
I'm sorry but your stuff is quite bland. Those first two are really bad. The second one's are alright but still boring.
Those first two are really bad. The second one's are alright but still boring.
the first two are really good lol the "second one" is the same as the first two [editline]25th August 2011[/editline]
That would've been as convincing as just posting the previous images again, seriously this stuff isn't original at all [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] It's not his, it's 10foot's
its not 10foot...
I guess you just like really bad unoriginal stuff homemade. It's just a black and white fill in, that's it. The lettering isn't even that great. The lines even cut into each other. At least he could've taken time to have better can control. Honestly these all suck
the first two are really good lol the "second one" is the same as the first two [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] its not 10foot...
whatever, it's very bland
What's even worse is that those were premeditated. I could free hand things way better than that. Why would you go out and tag before you knew you had the best tag you could do?

Woah that top one is great. Do you know where those are or who did them?

Hey guys, I'm looking at building a wall in my backyard to practice writing on, anyone know of any guides on building one?
Why don't you just get a cheap wooden board or something? Building a brick wall seems a little extreme.
You should save that brick wall for your best pieces of work.
The wall will be made out of wood. And every time I'm done with a piece I can just buff over it with white paint. I'm just curious if anyone's done something like that before and maybe has some advice on how to set one up.
I'm not even sure what he's talking about. Carry on with discussing street art and stuff.
But just look at what's happening to the thread, no one is capable of ignoring him Even the stuff he aspires to is miserably fail I honestly think he's just trolling at this point, you have a responsibility as a mod to purge the thread of such debris! Also I just had a cool idea, might work on it for a bit and see what happens
So the other day I went to Nelson Street in Bristol (UK). They have a massive legal graffiti project going on. I took some photos. I have loads more I'll add them in a bit. Just posting these here. For those of you not into the above
@Homemade The golden tag in the second image actually seems to be worth a look.
That bottom train one and the one on the truck are pretty cool. That silver tag is nice too. The black tag and the train fill in are kind of eh though. That's really lame about that Portland spray paint gallery getting closed. I don't really understand how that's legal. Even if they found tags that they knew for a fact belonged to people from that gallery, the most they should be able to do is a regular vandalism fine.
I honestly don't mind throw-up AKA. Bubble Lettering. But it needs to be artistic and have effort put into it. People who randomly right their name all over just to waste paint and cover up art with shit need to be arrested. Characters used to be a big hatred for me but I have come to love them as I have been more and more into graffiti :D
"hey guys, i like making noise and shitting on a community instead of actually trying to contribute to anything artistically. nothin beats unoriginal bubble lettering on old buildings".
Either way it's vandalism, I don't care as long as you're not toy.
Yeah, I'm a toy, just started tagging recently but I've been tagging far away from good graffiti and I wouldn't ever cover up a piece. Just need to practice to get better and I figure the best way to do that is by going out and actually getting used to spraying walls.
