I'm just tired of homemade saying he's such a hardcore graff artist, and the only (yes, only one) piece he posted is total garbage, homemade criticizes and insults when he obviously has no concept of how to make good graff.

also a stencil I made. My friend has this huge stencil about a monkey who is sick and tired of bananas so he has an apple instead. I fucking hate apples and I made a counter-stencil-thingy. First version kind-of forgot to cut out some areas, turning the "k" into "i"

I've never understood why the print that happens when you spray over the outer edge of stencil is so bad. It's the thing that made me like stenciling the most. Sure if the stenicl is such that it can't have that rim, it's bad but if it contributes or takes away nothing I don't see why not.

It takes away from the composition by giving it a weird "frame".

I usually manage composition on the paper format I have anyway.

It just looks sloppy and takes away from the image itself. Usually people who carefully slice up a stencil with fine details aren't going to want ugly edge-marks. Think of it as a chef lovingly arranging a plate of food and serving it to a customer, then he accidentally squirts sauce onto the table beside the plate. It doesn't ruin the meal per se, but it's certainly something you want to avoid because it's so aesthetically awful.

That's pretty good lol, the stencil i mean, the specific hit is terrible.

make sure your boundaries are big enough, you got some bad overspray and (like mako said) you need to get a calligraphy cap and do like 3 light dustings, not sit there and let it glob up and drip.

Don't spray so hard on the text, especially if the letters are that close together. Spray about seven inches away from the stencil lightly and sweep back and fourth every once in a while. It'll bleed through if you do it too hard on concentrated areas.

Haven't posted here in a while but I've been spending parts of my days in downtown Atlanta and I've been taking pics of graffiti and street art I see there when I can, I'll do an image dump at some point. I'm still working on that site thingy from forever ago, been making it on a Mac so yeah.

I was just in Atlanta this weekend Makol. You should go by lil' five points, Krog tunnel, and this bridge next to the fort worth skate park. Me and my friend bought some mop markers and tagged up a lot of places. Also some good ones on the marta station near lil five points.
