I think we should do the first one with under seven people. Just to make sure it's a possible idea.
I could possibly start up a street art group on Steam dedicated to FP Street Artists or for people interested in it? Would that work?
That would be pretty useful.
The steam group is a good idea, that would be much more fluent.

Kurtzund AgentBoomStick If anyone else wants in, just add yourself to this little list so we know who's on board. And steam group will be up in just a minute.
This came together very nicely, I'm honestly excited :v:

Definitely! I'm glad to be working with such a passionate group!
Me too, I'm about to start working right now haha. I usually do strictly black and white, so if anyone wants to add color to mine, go for it. First things first, what size are we going for?
If this becomes coordinated enough, different projects can be started with different groups or people. If we all get them to revolve around a central theme that would be incredible, not sure if that can be made to happen though. I don't want you guys to have to conform to the amount of space I have, but I would like the picture to draw attention to somebody not paying attention to detail.
I think we totally could pull that off with practice. We have to start somewhere though. A good size is 18x24
I'd like to be able to print it as 36x48 so whatever aspect ratio works for that is good with me.

We should brain storm some good topics and then narrow it down to a few. A couple that I've thought would be cool would be comic book covers, epic movie posters (star wars), nes and snes box covers. Mainly that kind of thing. But again it's really up to you guys, I'm down with anything and everything.
We've attracted a bit of a crowd, I'm glad people are interested. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline]
We should brain storm some good topics and then narrow it down to a few. Maybe we could do some editing and screw with original artwork to conform it to an idea we narrow down to.
Maybe we should do some sort of Dharma Wheel, after all, we will have around 8 people. So we could have a panel for each person.
There's a book on Banksy's street arts, it's called 'Wall and Piece.' Some of his works are hilarious :v:
That'd be cool, it would have to be huge though to get everything across. The only problem I'd see with that is that it would divide our art into sections and we couldn't really connect to each other.

Plus Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall. He's an artistic genius, honestly. His morals and everything just make him such a funny and unique person. I didn't see a street art thread. I've been doing street art for a little bit over a year now, I've never gotten any pictures of my work, but when I do I'll be sure to post them here.
There's a really long wall in the bay area of my town, a massive stretch of graffiti runs along it. But it's not just basic names, it's fully-blown sprayings of people, patters, etc.
A cool idea that me and a friend had was to take a big piece of paper, and make it look like it's a view of the inside of a house, like a Wes Anderson movie. Except instead of having regular people, we'd have just whatever we want in the house, but keep the house itself more or less the same.

I like the idea of easter egging with your work, and I love the collab idea, although tbh I think it'd look kind of terrible if it was too cluttered. I vote something simple, bold and effective I've been wanting to get back into this kind of thing for ages, I've done next to nothing since I moved here. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] To contribute a theme, I like eyes.

Almost everyone that sprays on it uses green and orange and it looks beautiful when it goes by. Simple, bold and effective is the best way to go for this. We're going to have to revise it a loooooooot.

I'll most likely contribute something regarding animals. And I think for now we should stick to black and white. Would be easier to get printed off since ink is so expensive these days.

I haven't done any street work myself but it would be a nice hobby I suppose.
