Sounds like mild sleep paralysis
[editline]11:28PM[/editline]
Basically, I think you woke up too fast and your body didn't have time to react, still thinking you were in dream land
Shit, just posted this on the other thread, to no avail.
I've tried to do that yesterday, but I fell asleep. I'm not giving up.
Though something different happened today. I was sleeping on the car, cause my stepfather had to drop by our house to pick something up. He parked near a ladder. I was sleeping following most of the advices that you guys gave me, but still, nothing happened, but it's fair enough since it was just a nap. But right when I've opened my eyes, there was this thing moving on the ladder. I then noticed it was a spider. A big and hairy one. I kept staring at it, moving VERY slowly on the wall, just to hide behind that ladder. I did nothing but watch it and I didn't take my eyes off that ladder. Then, I kept thinking about it and when my stepfather got out of the house I immediately yelled: "Look out for the spider behind that ladder!", he moved it, and nothing was there. Was my mind playing tricks on me?
Was I almost entering my dream when I did that?

Shit guys, I'm the page king what do I do what do I do
Hypnagogic hallucination is my guess but it seems as if you were fully awake because you yelled to your stepdad.

I've yelled at him AFTER the spider hid behind the ladder, it was like, 5 minutes after that, and I kept staring at it just to be sure the spider wouldn't run away, because spiders THAT big are hard to find where I live.

Yes. You weren't quite borderline, but you were getting there.
I urge you to try it again, you might get it first try

Last night I tried lucid dreaming for the first time ever but I've had sleep paralysis happen to me two times in the past and it scared me so badly. I tried the WILD method. I laid straight on my back closed my eyes, starting tensing up my muscles then breathing out, said a few things to myself like I will lucid dream tonight, then I started to act is if I was walking down stairs and then I started to see a lot of dots flicker around so I tried not to focus on them then I started to see something blue appear. It was like a blue slit that came from a black wall start to open so I thought I must be getting to a lucid dream now so I focused on the blue slit and opened my eyes and I was so mad I messed it all up. I never did hear any loud buzzing except for my ears ringing. Can someone give me any tips for trying to lucid dream tonight with the WILD method?

That was good. Focus on that but don't open your eyes.
You have to think about WILD like you're standing a stream, right? So you're anchored and standing still but everything's passing by you. You sit and just kind of passively observe the stages of sleep as they go by you, and eventually you're just deep enough into it to take control. That's the best way I've found to explain it.
Also, when you guys get good at this and you're looking into extending your Dream Control, this is a fantastic forum. People post tips, tutorials, problems, anything. There's a reason I cited DreamViews, it's a great site.
I've already started my dreams diarie, just in case. God damn it I LOVE dreaming. It's like an infinite source of creativity.

And without Dream Recall, that creativity won't be realized.
For anyone that needs help with WILD, explore around here. There's a high chance that if someone's asked me a question, someone else asked it a while ago and had it answered there.
Another important thing I forgot to add to my post. After a while my body starting feeling real warm and it worked its way from my feet up to my head and my torso felt like it was sort of swimming. I felt real heavy. Did this mean I was close?

Since I've just started doing that, will it make a HUGE difference from before? Like, will I be able to remember my dreams MUCH clearer than before?

You'll need to do it for some time, but your memory of dreams will get more clearer every time.
To the point where you may be able to write 3-4 pages on a single dream.

Sounds amazing. I'm leaving for the Army in two weeks, so I'll have to put a hold on my dream activities.
(Also, where the fuck did my search tool go?)

Welp, Avoiding Watching TV, I heard that makes it hard to sleep - Therefor harder to go Lucid.
Can Someone anwser some more questions? I'm a curios boy...
What was your first lucid dream like?
How long am I expected to stay in my first?
Isn't it easier to lucid dream if I have before?
If I stay calm in sleep parlyisis, Is it possible to head into a Lucid Dream?
Are there any oher methods on Lucid Dreaming? Are MILDs and WILDs the only way?

I can answer these
Isn't it easier to lucid dream if I have before? If you've done it unknowingly, there will be no difference. However if you lucid dreamed when you tried to, you've already gained a tactic, making it easier for later.
If I stay calm in sleep parlyisis, Is it possible to head into a Lucid Dream? You have to stay calm. Any excitement during SP will cause you to wake up.
Are there any oher methods on Lucid Dreaming? Are MILDs and WILDs the only way? People have made their own ways. These are the most effective. There are also HILD and WBTB but they are a little more complicating

I'll leave the rest up to zinayzen, since I've only had few
Kk, Thanks.

In dreams I usually find it hard to keep my eye's open, and then sometimes when I move about I fall over a bunch and it's really hard to stay balanced. It's pretty bizarre.
I also once had a dream where I was outside a building at night, and it was pitch dark and the only light was from some windows. Then later I woke up and realized the light splotches were actually light that was shining though the pillow I had put over my face.
I'm going to bed so which technique should I try for best results?
Start with MILD, if you wake up during the night, use WILD.
if you wake up, I suggest WBTB instead of WILD. WILD means just fall back asleep. WBTB gets your mind exercised first, which I suggest.
if you wake up, i suggest wbtb instead of wild. Wild means just fall back asleep. Wbtb gets your mind exercised first, which i suggest.
wbtb?
wbtb?
Wake back to bed. Basically if you wake up during the night, get up and without walking around much, exercise your mind. Do math, read a book. Keep your body tired and your mind awake. Then go back to bed and it's hard NOT to slip into lucidity.
Ok gonna go try MILD. Wish me luck.
