Isn't it true that sunlight increases melatonin levels?
If so, Doesent that help you sleep?
What's an easy way to go into a Lucid Dream?
Anything I should know before I try?
And how long should I wait before I change myself?
I want a chaingun Hand :woop:
MelaNIN is increased in sun. It's what makes your skin darker and gives your eyes their color
Melatonin can be bought in pill form from health food stores, and occurs naturally in the brain. It does help you sleep, and regulate sleep cycles.
In regards to your other questions, they've all pretty much been answered at some point. There's no easy way to do it, just practice practice practice. You'll get results if you stick with it. Read the OP if you want "tips", goddamn.
You need to get laid.

What about cyclic dreaming?
What happens is that you force yourself to take 30 minute naps 5 times a day. After about a week or so your mind will be tricked into going straight to R.E.M. sleep, and you will not need to sleep as much anymore.
That's what I'm told, anyway.
Do you think that I could listen to Muse or something while laying on my back to induce SP?
I'll try lucid dreaming again. I'll keep on practicing until I get it.
I'm going to bed, hopefully not see that fucking doll again.
Or anything worse :ohdear:
I'm going to try MILD this time though, to see which one is more effective
Is Zinayzen still here? I'd like to know how much eating the Peanut Butter + Banana toast helps...
I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm close. I get to the part where my body is all numb/paralyzed, then I get bored since nothing is happening and I go back on FP :(

I was over at a friends house and he has this doll his little sister used to play with so it's sitting on the piano right, and I stare at it, alone in the dark room, I stared at it and it started to fade. I blinked and I saw it again. I know it was probably my eyesight but I had like 5 fucking nightmares because of that.
After two weeks I finally had a lucid dream, was all like 'Hey this a dream, fuck this I'm flying.' Flew for like 10 secs then woke up inisde my dream. Was weird.
My first lucid dream was me and one of the girls I knew at my dinner table, I suddenly remembered it was a dream so when I went to screw that girl on the table (she came at me), I woke up as soon as penetration started...

Ok so when I attempt the WILD method after about 30 minutes of laying there on my back with my eyes closed I start to see this its like flashing Dots

After a few minutes it turns into moving streaks like this

After that I woke up and my legs felt really heavy. So was I close or was my mind playing tricks on me.

That's called the "Uberman" pattern. It's two hours of sleep total, but if you can do it right, it's effective. But you have to stick to it perfectly. If you miss a nap by ten to fifteen minutes, you're screwed up for like two weeks. Not recommended.

Vitamin B6 increases Dream Recall. Not sure why, but it's been proven that it does.
At that point you kind of just have to will the dream into happening. Start to visualize stuff. Watch the imagery in front of your eyes and try to bring them into focus.

You were close. At that point you just have to do what I just said. Visualize the dream, etc. etc.

I knew it's name and I know some of the risks, I was just wondering if you've ever had any personal experience. I plan on giving it a shot this summer.

I asked Zinayzen about music earlier and said as long as your focusing on SP than listening then it shouldn't matter.
I had sleep paralysis this morning, was freakier than words can describe, should I still write it down in my journal though?
Why does the OP have nothing about dream symbols and archetypes? They're essential for understanding your dreams.
Ok, I had a 2-hour nap (3pm-5pm) and I remembered 2 dreams, or probably just 2 parts of one dream. I tried WILD again, but I only got to the part with flashing colours. I noticed I was getting an erection too haha.
I haven't gotten to the noises, I just dozed off eventually :(
Dammit I was so close but because I took a nap this afternoon I couldn't really fall asleep all the way I saw the pattern then the streaks of color then my feet and legs got warm cold, tingled then numb had I not taken that nap I would probably be in my dream now.
I read this article about using SP to have an Out of Body experience. Are OBEs actually real? Or just some form of dream?
Don't you hate it when you move your leg in a dream, and then it moves you leg in real life, making the most jerky movement ever, and there's no ground, so it freaks your body out and wakes you up from half awake-ness?
so annoying :I

Dreams. Vivid dreams.
I had a lucid dream where i was a high-ranking Nazi official and my name was "Karl Hanberg" And i talked to Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler and Other Nazi', It was fucking cool.

There aren't really rules for writing a journal, the idea is just to write down everything you remember. I've always written down SP visions, but you don't have to.

Vivid dream, that's about it.

Again, I wouldn't suggest it. It's entirely possible (hell, I've gone lucid on an airplane before), but it's not very easy and if you don't know what you're doing it's hard.
Why does the OP have nothing about dream symbols and archetypes? They're essential for understanding your dreams.
Didn't think about it. I'll add more later. I'm not focusing on understand dreams so much as controlling them, though. Why look for a hidden meaning if you can just ask yourself outright?
You guys should put some of these on my friends website: www.dreamsfromlastnight.net
sex lucid dreams with black girls are cool.
Well, I tried it for the first time last night.
I never remember any of my dreams, so that's what I was working on.
Basically repeating "I will remember my dreams, I will remember my dreams" over and over in my head.
Now, the scary/interesting stuff. I'm not sure if it was because I was expecting something to happen, or if it was real, but after a while (I was slightly curled up in bed) I got this massive urge to stretch my leg out fully. I decided to ignore that urge and see what happened.
This wave of sort of... numbness I guess... rolled over my body, I could still feel things, but I couldn't feel my bed on my arms and leg... Kinda like I was floating or something.
The feeling was so weird that I did it four times, snapping myself out of it each time.
Also, on the second time I did it, I heard the sound of someone sneezing to the left of me. It wasn't real; pretty sure it was just a "auditory hallucination" or whatever.
After doing all that, I fell asleep, and woke up this morning having not remembered a single dream for that night.
Am I doing it right? Why can I still not remember stuff?
Since this is a megathread about sleep, you should add information about different sleep cycles as well.
