You're showing progress, though. You're starting to figure it out by yourself and asking her if you're right. There's always a method to the madness, the hard part's figuring it out.
I need to work soon, so I can't analyze that one, at least not right now. But I do think I know what the kid was. The lighthouse escapes me at the moment, however. I'll get it eventually.

Its really not that bad, i keep mine right next to my bed so its right next to me when i wake up. it just takes an extra 2-5~ mins of my morning
I'll go over this again and explain my methods. Hopefully you'll start to see a pattern.
The setting is basically irrelevant, your sub's just getting creative. So cut forward to you two being on a balcony trying to save a kid. (The obvious question is if you're standing on a balcony a kid is hanging from, why didn't you just grab him?) But that doesn't matter.
So you see a kid hanging there, and then AJ shows up. He reaffirms several things I already said, and then I have no idea what happens to him. Did he disappear? Did he just awkwardly stand there, glowering as you two made out and poofed into a lighthouse? I don't know what happened.
The kid doesn't matter. The kid was just a way to lure you out onto the balcony and then get tempted by that guy again.
Think about it this way. He's the bad guy. You two are the good guys, but Ellen and him have a very distinct history, and she knows she can't control him. You can, but that's also irrelevant. (Good job keeping your cool, by the way. Next time try shooting it, I'm curious.)
I don't really think the kid meant anything other than a manifestation of you trying to help people who are in need. Then he showed up, started talking about how you can hate people so much that you know helping them won't change how they feel about you, blah blah blah, then the kid was gone. Did you get a look at the kid's face? Did you know him? Because AJ distracted you from helping that kid up, so he probably fell and presumably died. AJ won that time, buddy. :smith:
And I don't know what the lighthouse is. If I wanted to get really vague and lame I'd say it represented you always trying to look out for the greater good, like you're a lighthouse guarding the shores of goodness from evil ships of death. But that's pretty gay.
You should sketch AJ. i want to see how batshit scary his face is.
I think your sub is just testing you with temptation and evil things, honestly. AJ didn't really win, but realize that paying attention to his suggestions for even small amounts of time can have pretty bad results.
Its kind of true with reality i guess aswell. If you stop and consider whatever the negative "evil" option is the more likely something bad will happen, i assume Ellen is trying to get you just just instinctively act on good morals?

NOTHING HAPPENED THAT WASN'T COMPLETELY OBVIOUS. IT WAS A STRETCH TO EVEN THINK ABOUT THE KID.
That was a rare dream where there wasn't anything hidden in it. He blatantly introduced himself and explained to you the role he plays in your life along with examples. There's not much to it. And I really don't know what the lifehouse is, that's probably something with a personal meaning.
