Okay let me try and explain what it looks like

Here we have standard two face.
Half of his face is normal, while the other half is decomposed more than that. His eye is partially gone and you can see his brain on the back when he turns around. Even on the side that's normal he's got large gashes in him that scale through his entire head.

And you can see his chin bone and his hands are bony but with some flesh on them

So i've been trying wild for like a week now. At first I felt drowsy and I shocked myself back awake, after forcing myself to stop doing that it changed a bit. Picturing going down the stairs has gotten harder somehow, I am mainly seeing black with mist and behind the mist I see the video of walking down the stairs, although after a while it gets more clear but then I'm aware it's happening and my eyes move and I have to start all over agian. What also has changed is that I feel like I am entering a bigger ''blackness'' after a while. Like i'm going from 17' to 22' widescreen. At that moment I begin to feel less connected to sleeping and the bed I'm on, but more like I'm floating in the vast plane of black.
What's going on, and am I going in the right direction?

It's been nearly 3 months and I still havn't done anything for my dream recall. I've occasionally managed to realise I'm in a dream but it kind of takes a third person approach and starts going grey and then I wake up, I think this most often happens when I actually have the ability to wake myself at any time and so it's not a true lucid opportunity.
I've been experiencing what I think is hypnic jerk lately, kind of ruining my dreams but it gives me different ones and time to remember it.

Can I improve my dream recall by just staying with my eyes closed after I wake up and thinking about it? I don't have time to do a dream diary most of the time so I figured this might help a bit.
Does anyone else experience sound leaking into your dreams? I constantly have things like if I leave the TV on I'll start to dream about Dora the Explorer because that's what's on.

you NEED a dream journal to help you improve dream recall. If anything you should repeat a mantra as you sleep but to do that every night is retarded.

We eventually set off to the market area where we went in a few shops. I saw my team and they said we had to extract as we had been found out, so we ran heading towards an alley way. As we were running I got my foot caught and fell, I shouted for help but my team had gone. 3 people came up and tried to capture me but I grabbed one of their guns. Unfortunately for me they didn't work. They dragged me to an open street. They said for me to run, I asked for a 10 second headstart but they just laughed. I started running but it didn't take long for me to get shot with 3 rounds. They weren't lethal and didn't go in far but hurt and was enough to immobilize me. They talked about torturing me to find out info. I knew what was coming so I forced myself awake.
