Is posting allowed again in this thread. I see Hezzy re-opened it. :D
Sweet. Fuck yeah Hezzy!
[editline]07:27AM[/editline]
didn't feel like dreaming last night and I don't today either
WHAT
Jesus christ hezzy you are the best moderator ever.
Anyways, I'm gonna go to sleep now and try C-WILD again since I had partial success last night. I dreamed that I was in Oblivion and I did a reality check but somehow I failed to realize it was a dream and continued to run off in Cydoriil in third person... :argh:
Hopefully, this next try would get better results.
Hezzy (or Garry), why'd you reopen this? (If the latter's reading this, why the hell did you close it in the first place?)

Hezzy opened it because me and like 3 others were asking for it to be opened

A thoughtful idea, but not entirely necessary because a better version of this kind of thread was already being made, now we'll have 2 big threads about dreaming, except this one won't be as good as the next :|.

It's good for now. I'll ask Hezzy to close it in a week or so, once I can get the whole thing up and looking spiffy.
At least this way i can stop answering the same questions over and over.

Preparing for PILD. That's 4 liters, already drank one of them.

Yeah, actually. It's like C-WILD but more reliable.
Yeah, actually. It's like C-WILD but more reliable.
Yeah, and you can piss yourself in your sleep if you're not careful.
I just finished writing out all my notes for the Sleep and Dreams lecture. I've learned some interesting things that you guys might like to hear, but it's kind of technical. Should I still show you guys, or do you not care?
Random fact: If you get a cat that's in REM sleep and put it on a narrow ledge, it will lose its balance and fall off. Usually done above water for sheer comical effect.
Any information about this is useful, don't ask our opinion whether you should share it, just do it.
Any information about this is useful, don't ask our opinion whether you should share it, just do it.
It's not really useful information, just the chemical processes by which your brain initiates sleep cycles, etc. Also the chemicals involved with dream recall, lucidity, and sleep paralysis. Also talks about arousal systems (not the kind you're probably thinking of), as well as circadian rhythms and your internal clock system.
On second thought, that DOES sound useful.
I'll post tomorrow. Should I scan or rewrite? really doesn't matter, your call. One one hand you see my pure academic genius paired with my horrible writing. On the other hand you see the pretty computer text but it lacks personality. :v:
Maybe you could produce those chemicals and with them go to sleep paralysis instantly? Or find out what food contains them?
Or eat the chemical which helps lucidity, to achieve it every time?
Maybe you could produce those chemicals and with them go to sleep paralysis instantly? Or find out which food contains them.
I'll probably cover that as well, assuming I type up my notes.
I highly doubt it's possible, the chemicals that are involved do other things in your body as well and I don't want to permanently fuck you up so you can LD faster.
I'll talk to my professor tomorrow. 99% sure she's heard of LDing, it's fairly common and a scientific mystery, more or less.
Edit: I've had almost four liters of water. Usually I'm dehydrated so that should average out fairly nicely. Going to bed now. Assuming I don't pee my pants, we should see a result in the morning. G'night.
So I tried PILD last night, drank about a liter and went to sleep. I believe it did work, I remember waking up somewhere in the night. But the fool I am, I went back to sleep without even taking a piss. :geno:
I also take every night some kind of vitamine pil with B6. Kinda scary how every night when I take it, I atleast remember one dream. Last night I remember I was part in a zombie apocalypse, not much is clear. What I do remember is two guys who splitted up from the main group, and I saw what happened when they did. Somehow I was probably spectating them or something. But they had to go into some kind of sewer and grab something before the zombie got them. While the one was in the sewers, the other went outside the entrance to cover for him. Unfortunaly they got both ambushed. What is clear in my mind is how they got there. They drove on a freaking sled to their destination.
I do wonder how my mind got the idea of having a zombie apocalypse, maybe because I read some disgusting manga someone randomly sent me. It involved a gunshot and brain squishing. Was too scared to read any further. :saddowns:
It's alive!
IT"S ALIVE!
I really want to learn to lucid dream, and when i read the part about the B12 vitamin i overwhelmed in joy. Why you ask? Well, i was at the doctor some time ago to find out that i have a lack of B-vitamin, so now i take two pills a day, which makes up 1800% of recommended daily intake. I have great chances ahead!
Ohh nice, reopened.

Isn't that dangerously high? And do those pills also contain B6?
Isn't that dangerously high? And do those pills also contain B6?
No it's not dangerously high, not for me at least. Also with recommended intake i mean minimum recommended intake per day (sorry if that creates confusion). They also contain B1 B2 B6 and some other things that i can't be bothered to translate.

B6 is also for Dream recall if I remember. Also thanks for opening the thread again Hezzy! :buddy:

Awesome stuff. I also heard that B-vitamin improves overall memory, so it would make sense. But the B-6 is only at 550%.

I can confirm that, I take before going to bed some kind of vitamin pill with B6(Don't know if B12 is in it too). And every night I got atleast one dream I can recall the next day. Funny how I forgot to take it once, resulting in no dream recall that next day.
So does anyone know which technique is good and gives me a sure chance to be Lucid?

Read the first post and (at least some of) the thread?
When does WILD work? I've heard that it only works after you've slept 5-7 hours and woken yourself up with an alarm, but is achieving lucidity via WILD when taking a nap possible?

Your thinking of C-WILD. WILD is possible when taking a nap if I remember correctly.

Ok good, gonna try it now.
[editline]02:18PM[/editline]
Well I failed, I got to sleep paralysis, then my eyes started vibrating strongly like left, right, left,up,right etc.. Then I started seeing trippy stuff, like fog moving fast, and it felt like I was seeing them in the back of my eyes. Some images started to form, but they never were clear so I couldn't focus on them.
Then I probably got too excited and the whole thing was over.
