Ok good, gonna try it now.
[editline]02:18PM[/editline]
Well I failed, I got to sleep paralysis, then my eyes started vibrating strongly like left, right, left,up,right etc.. Then I started seeing trippy stuff, like fog moving fast, and it felt like I was seeing them in the back of my eyes. Some images started to form, but they never were clear so I couldn't focus on them.
Then I probably got too excited and the whole thing was over.
This happened to me the last time I tried. It's very frustrating.

Also: FUCK YEAH THREAD IS OPEN AGAIN!!!
/caps
PILD didn't work for me. I think it's because I'm on a bunk bed and need much higher incentives to get off my bed.
My roommates are dicks. They sprayed Fabreeze or whatever the hell it is all over the room and my bed so everything smelled like crap. And when I ended up WILDing (on my side/stomach, which was weird), they started having a loud conversation. Goddamn it.
I can occasionally get a lucid dream, but i can't control it, I'll be like, hey wtf that's not real and then snap and be like I'M DREAMING! then it starts to fade out and i use the old rub your hands together technique to keep myself in the dream.. but i still can't control anything and it's pissing me off! I'll try and change/control something and nothing happens.. i can walk around and shit on my own free will but nothing more.
And this is without trying to lucid dream. Like 9 times out of 10 i notice stuff happening that isn't physically possible and my brain is aware of it and that's when i notice I'm dreaming.. So i have no trouble getting a lucid dream and no trouble staying in the dream.. I just can't do any fun shit lol.
Yay threads back!! :buddy:
Dream recall has improved a great deal now, and sorta getting into semi lucid states in dreams.
I have a midterm at 1, but when I get back I'll post all the fun chemical knowledge I learned. As well as a warning saying that if you attempt to increase the chemicals in your body as a result of what I tell you that I'm not responsible when you kill yourself or give yourself cerebral palsy.
I had the most crazy lucid dream ever:
I woke up in my bed
I decided to grab my step-fathers axe
I flew around the world killing Adolf Hitlers
tl;dr: I flew around the world killing lots of Adolf Hitlers with an axe

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a dream.
So after kind of training myself to remember my dreams for a while, I think I remembered every single one of my dreams last night.
There was no transition between them (as far as I could tell), but I definitely remember 3 or 4 distinctly different stories and settings with different people in each.
Did I remember all my dreams?? :D
Which thread do we post in regarding lucid dreams, this one or the lucid dream thread?
I just remembered how once I woke up in the middle of the night, but my brain seemed to be dreaming still.
It was annoying, I'd try and sleep but I was "thinking" a nightmare. It felt kind of like there was this itch in my entire head, but yet not quite a itch..
I couldn't sleep at all that night.

I suggest this one, simply because it's got more information. The only reason the other one got so active was because this one was locked for some reason.
I never have dreams, and when i do they suck :saddowns:

No, you always have dreams, you just don't remember your dreams. Common misconception.

What is Pild?
How does it work?
How effective is it?

I invented it two days ago. Pee Induced Lucid Dream.
It's like C-WILD (page 9, i think), except you use your bladder instead of an alarm. There's a biological and dream related explanation, but just know that it wakes you up in perfect time. You just drink a lot of water before you go to bed.
90% success rate so far.
Wah! A sleep and dream megathread!! :O

Since I couldn't decided on a heart or palette, I rated you funny. Anyway, hopefully I'll get to be Lucid in 6 more hours. :buddy:

Unless you're stupid enough to wake up due the bladder and going straight to sleep again. :eng99:
Can I combine WBTB and C-WILD? Like can I wake up then do lucid dream related stuff and then go back to bed and use C-WILD.
Can I combine WBTB and C-WILD? Like can I wake up then do lucid dream related stuff and then go back to bed and use C-WILD.
Of course, but it wouldn't be C-WILD anymore, it'd be WILD, because you won't get back to sleep fast enough.
Unless you're stupid enough to wake up due the bladder and going straight to sleep again. :eng99:
Or if you're lazy enough to not get out of bed to pee so you just hold it until morning and defeat the purpose. I had four liters of water, too. Damn you bladder.
So I tried PILD last night, drank about a liter and went to sleep. I believe it did work, I remember waking up somewhere in the night. But the fool I am, I went back to sleep without even taking a piss. :geno:
I also take every night some kind of vitamine pil with B6. Kinda scary how every night when I take it, I atleast remember one dream. Last night I remember I was part in a zombie apocalypse, not much is clear. What I do remember is two guys who splitted up from the main group, and I saw what happened when they did. Somehow I was probably spectating them or something. But they had to go into some kind of sewer and grab something before the zombie got them. While the one was in the sewers, the other went outside the entrance to cover for him. Unfortunaly they got both ambushed. What is clear in my mind is how they got there. They drove on a freaking sled to their destination.
I do wonder how my mind got the idea of having a zombie apocalypse, maybe because I read some disgusting manga someone randomly sent me. It involved a gunshot and brain squishing. Was too scared to read any further. :saddowns:
Sounds like a pretty wild dream.
I have a problem; very strong and easily affected imagination. Two days ago when I tried WILD I got to the audio hallucinations, and even though I knew they weren't real, I freaked out.
I haven't been able to sleep well since, my mind is constantly thinking that there's someone in my room/whole house when I'm alone. This happens with horror movies as well, they keep in my memory
for a long time and my imagination starts to mess with me. I just can't fight it with logic( it's my imagination... nothing to worry about etc.. ), my body is in constant little fear all the time I'm alone.
So no WILD for me for a long time.
Fun way to check if you're awake (for lucid dreamers): Look at a watch, or some sort of text or numbers, look away/close your eyes, then look at it again. If it's changed dramatically, you may be dreaming...
The brain has no use for times or for letters in dreams, so it will just generate a random one if it needs to. Looking at a watch expecting to know the time classifies as "needs to know".
Should I try C-Wild or Wild this time, can't really decide. Last 2 times I fell asleep again after the alarm <.<
