hay Zinayzen can you answer my PM?
My PMs are messed up. Post it here.
I was wondering how exactly SP is related to lucid dreaming? It wasent clear in the OP, like does it always happen when you lucid dream, is it a method to try to get a lucid dream, or what?

Awake-->SP-->lucid dream-->SP-->Awake But not always.
gotcha im trying the MILD method, so does this still cause SP? Im not worryed or anything (im trying Sp tonight) i just want to know exactly what's going to happen
gotcha im trying the MILD method, so does this still cause SP? If it does, just relax and stay calm to either wake up or go back into the lucid dream. Panicking will result in scary shit.
I ludid dream all the time. Just set a reminder on your phones calander to trigger a few times in the morning about 2 hours before you wake up in 20 minute intervals. Wakes me up just enough to take control for 5 or so minutes.
what's kinda funny but sad at the same time, i told my huge group of friends who is doing this that the SP dream will be scary no matter what so now they are expecting a scary dream... i feel bad now because they are all going to have a terrible night while Megan Fox is giving me a lapdance :sigh: oh well
Well, despite the fact that it was a short one, I feel obliged to post my first ever lucid dream. Well, at first, I decided that since I always wake up in the middle of the night, I'd try the WBTB method. So when I woke up, I turned the light on and started to count the letters on a book that was lying around, add and subtract the numbers on a microwave, and do some simple expansion in my head. So I went back to bed, not much happening, and I went to sleep. I then woke up, then I thought darn, it didn't work. It was very dark, and I also noticed I felt very very strange. But I just assumed I'd woken up in the middle of the night again. So I got up to try it again, and I tried to turn the light on. But when I flicked it nothing happened, so I was very confused. I then proceeded to push one of my fingers through my hand, and it went through. I immediately knew I had to stabilise myself, so I tried to spin around, but I couldn't move. I then woke up for real. So basically, I tried to WBTB but it ended up in me reality checking a false awakening in another attempt to WBTB. Wacky stuff.
Haha, what? How confused were you when you actually woke up
Haha, what? How confused were you when you actually woke up
Yeah, I've had a false awakening before, but this was even more confusing because this false awakening felt so real. Most confusing thing that's ever happened to me, basically. More confusing than Steve Irwin dying to a stingray instead of some shark or snake. <_>
what if your whole life from that point is just another false awakening and you'll wake up as some green alein monster and your mother slug monster will be all like, "Honey what's wrong?" and you'll be like, "I had this dream i was one of those human slaves" wait that means im just a figment of your imagination :suicide:
Ah, but the text isn't changing, my clock is making sense and my fingers are obeying the laws of reality. :P
I WAKE UP IN NEW ORLEANS. THE SETTING IS L4D2'S THE PARISH. I need to piss, therefore I do in a decent bathroom for an entire five minutes. I go outside, and see the characters of l4d2. They greet me as they greet their own. I notice they have a glowing item, a severed ichthyosaur head. I have an idea, "LETS GO TO THE COAST, AND USE IT TO CALL ANOTHER ICHTHYOSAUR! WE CAN RIDE IT AWAY IN VICTORY". AND SO WE DID.
wait, Alyx? Boy, I think you've been playing too much half-life.
:derp: It's a common name.
Yesterday I was fucking around with my desk during math class (So it was perfectly balanced on one leg, pretty badass I was yelling "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?!" etc.) and it tipped over and I hit me head on the filing cabinet. It didn't hurt or anything, but I was afraid to go to sleep because of concussions. When I finally fell asleep I didn't dream (Or at least didn't remember it) and when I woke up I thought I was being conscious in a dream without control around third period, in a coma or something so I did crazy shit all day today and somehow still didn't get in trouble.
Attempt number 3 tonight, going for MILD this time because even though every thing was going to plan, my shit phone decided the alarm would go on forever. This time going for MILD, but I keep having this feeling that everything is going to turn into a nightmare. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

My favorite dream to date: So, I was having a board meeting with Syd Barrett (from Pink Floyd). We were faced with a serious problem. We had a skittles leak. Yes, just like that commercial where there's a rainbow-colored stain that leaks skittles. Anyways, we needed outside help, so we called Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) to help us. He said the only thing to do when you approach the leak is to sing the first line of Wish You Were Here three times, then you may walk under it. If you did NOT do so, the skittle would fall into your mouth and bounce around in your stomach, causing you to "explode a rainbow", as Robert said. Then there was something about a lightsaber, but I think that's it. Fucking awesome dream.
I keep intending to do a WBTB because I usually wake up in the middle of the night, But I never get out of bed because it's so comfy. And the last few mornings once I woke up I rolled around in bed a bunch before remembering to write down my dreams, So I usually forget a bunch of them. But I guess the latter will be fixed by practice.
If you find yourself waking up in the middle of the night a lot, it definitely seems like something to practice. Ever considered making your bed less comfy?
Last night I decided to give WILD a try, but I ended up giving up after about an hour. Then, towards the end of a really long dream I was having, I suddenly realised "wait, shouldn't I be at school?" and then it occured to me that I was dreaming. I then did a reality check and suddenly everyone and everything in the dream just froze as if someone had turned AI to 0 in a source game. Realising what had happened, I did the first thing which came to mind which for some reason was commanding a huge horde of zombies to run at the location I was pointing from behind me. I ended up getting too excited and woke up. Was this actually lucidity? Or could it have been a dream ABOUT what I had been reading here?

It's like your brain just freezes everything so you can sort it out. Yeah, that was lucidity. If you had a dream about being lucid...you'd be lucid.
I usually have dreams about things I often did in that day or before. I tried getting into SP, or atleast stay completely still and keep consious. After a while my feet and hands began to feel kinda numb, but there's always something distracting me. First night it was slime in my throat that came up every time, forcing me to swallow. Second night my cat decided eat out his basket and scratched it out, making alot of noise for 5 annoying minutes. :eng99: I'll probably get more dedicated AFTER the exams, the last one is today so I can finally prepare decently.
You should add a section about astral projection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral_projection http://www.crystalinks.com/astral.html
Damn, I haven't recalled any dreams for a long time, any tips? I've been trying this "I will remember my dreams and shit" and I've eaten some bananas also to get those B6 vitamins. Is it possible that a WILD fails because I don't see/remember my dreams?
I have REALLY LOT of Deja Vu's in my dreams. Like I can see the future. at the morning i dont remember it though, but at the evening when it happens, the thing i saw in the dream, then i remember the dream PICTURE CLEAR Do i really see in the future or something? ofcourse not, i think. im just SURE i had seen these things in my dream. Its funny because i think i saw a deja vu in my dream about posting this question in here...
