You should add a section about astral projection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral_projection http://www.crystalinks.com/astral.html
Those are just lucid dreams with another name and with added occult mumbo jumbo shit.
Fuck failed again. Maybe I'll try again tonight. What types of lucid dreaming techniques are able to be used during the day like during a nap?
I keep dreaming of getting into a fight with someone, and then for all my might, I can't land a single blow. Every person who I fight almost seems oblivious to the fact that I'm even attacking them. Its odd.

I had a dream about that Candle Cove show thing once, it was REALLY strange, I woke up and flipped out scared as hell. that was about 3 years ago.
A few days ago I had a dream with Dylan Klebold (I think, he's the only person that looks like the kid in my dream)attempting to murder me with a chainsaw. First nightmare that has woken me up in a LONG time.
I seriously want to strangle my roommates. If you have three fucking desk lights, you don't need the rooom light on. And if I'm on the top bunk and I'm trying to sleep, you REALLY don't need the light on. And if all you're doing is watching videos on youtube, you REALLY do not fucking need the light on. I am using font effects to establish my rage.
Damn, I haven't recalled any dreams for a long time, any tips? I've been trying this "I will remember my dreams and shit" and I've eaten some bananas also to get those B6 vitamins. Is it possible that a WILD fails because I don't see/remember my dreams?
I've finally managed to do it via MILD! After 1 week, but the dream endured 10 seconds or so, because as I went to my bathroom, I fell hit something with my right foot, just like a step of some sort, but that was just my real body turning to its side, then I woke up as I got too excited. And yes, you guys were right, I became lucid after I blew my nose with my fingers blocking it, and it REALLY does work. Gotta keep focused...
Fuck fuck fuck. I decided it would be a good time for a nap and to try CWILD. During the course of laying down, I get interrupted like 4 fucking times. WISH EVERY ONE WOULD FUCK OFF.
Someone list out all the "working" methods to go lucid.
Check the op.
I keep fucking falling asleep when I wake up in the middle of the night :argh:
I like having lucid dreams, because if I have a problem I can keep working on it during my sleep.
I remember having this really real dream once, it was in my uncles flat and we was all watching tv then all of a sudden aliens burst out of the tv then they pop and i appear outside, sitting on the grass listening to the wind feeling the grass inbetween my hands. It was really awesome.
During my dream last night, I accidentally summoned my subconscious as a dog (I don't know.)and said "Oh shit better not ask what my biggest fear is" or something like that and it showed me my biggest fear. Dicks..
I was in the middle of some kind of box with screens and a glass port; it was kind of like in the old school Starship Troopers book, except the Mobile Infantry looked more like a cross between an ODST and a soldier from Battlefield 2142. I was dropped in the orbit of some Urban world, like a futuristic Earth. I could see the atmosphere burning up my pod, and then some kind of airbrake slowed me down so the pod could explode and launch me out. I flew feet first down at this dazzeling, nightime metropolis, a parachute jumped out of my back and yanked me like a ragdoll. Suddenly, an explosion nearby knocked me into a nearby skyscraper and I passed out. When I woke up, a blueish heads up display fizzed into existense in font of my eyes, I was wearing a helmet with a full on visor. Basically, I ran around blowing people away with guns that would make a redneck jizz his pants. I woke up after seeing a VTOL jet thing hover right in front of me with big guns.
So.. are you able to sleep next night or wasn't it even scary?
My biggest fear was failure/not existing/dying, so I think I'll sleep fine.
Pfft. You had an easy fear. Consider yourself lucky.
Got feedback from my friends who managed to actually SP. Phil: He was looking at his clock, and the *tick tick tick* of it got louder and louder to the point where he said it was like constant explosions, then he said the walls were oozing dark red goop, he tried really hard to move, and then he gained back all feeling at once and shot out of his bed onto the floor. Jake: He said that at first nothing happened so he tried to get a drink of water, couldent move and panicked. He said the walls started to morph into shapes and come towards him. He held his breath and woke up. Noimous: He said being paralyzed was scary enough, then he started to hear windy, like that wind that brushed up against branches. He said it got louder and louder and then he eventually woke up. There were 4 other who were supposed to try tonight, 2 chickened out, one completely forgot, and someone txted me while i was lying still, and when i tried again, i fell asleep before i could get to SP. I will be trying again tonight anlong with 2 others.
My biggest fear was failure/not existing/dying, so I think I'll sleep fine.
So you pretty much lucked out, huh? What lucid dreaming method do you use?
So you pretty much lucked out, huh? What lucid dreaming method do you use?
I guess I'm a lucky bastard and naturally lucid dream.
Had a false awakening, as I woke up I noticed that all my teeth were falling out (And holy shit, just thinking about it now makes me remember how real it felt). I sat in bed collecting them for a while, until I decided to get up and get some painkillers (Not like I was in pain or anything though). I walk out to the kitchen and for some reason I go straight to the fridge and they're sitting in there. And me being stupid thought "Oh they're not supposed to be there... oh well I guess someone has made them easier to get". I would have been so close to doing an RC as well because there are two digital clocks in my room plus the clock in the kitchen.
Sometimes, while in my bed, I go in and out of the real world and my subconscious state. For example, I'll be in my bed, looking at my room but I'll imagine I'm running, I will then get to a cliff where my natural reaction will be to jump. My legs will then jerk up and I will descend fully into reality. Scary shit man.

Zinayzen, when do you think a person is ready for lucid dreaming? I've been able to remember my dreams perfectly for a couple months now, although I've just started keeping a journal and doing reality checks. How do I know when I am capable? Should I try and try until it happens?
i recommend SP before lucid dreaming, that way you know what to expect and you're magical lucid expirience isnt ruined by the sheer terror of SP for the first time.
I'm not going to lie, I am terrified of doing SP.
