I've always wanted to be able to have lucid dreams.
There was a thread about it somewhere...I tried it and got it three times. I just relaxed myself and kept repeating the words "I'm going to dream now. I'm in a dream. I'm aware of my dream." in my head and after about a minute or so I would have a short dream then realize I was dreaming. It was pretty cool and I'm going to try more tonight.
Here's the thread: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=940742
This thread is organic orgasm.
Last time I "flew" in my dream it looked like a video game, which is unfortunate as it isn't as aesthetically pleasing as "real life".
What would happen if you summoned your subconsious and then attempted to fight it?
What would happen if you summoned your subconsious and then attempted to fight it?
I usually do this to gain complete control.
What would happen if you summoned your subconsious and then attempted to fight it?
Hmm if you kill your subconscious you'd have to breath/beat your heart/blink manually.
FOREVER.
I was talking about lucid dreaming with some people, a lot wanted to try it for sex. wish it was easy.

:ohdear:
One of my fears is that my whole life was a dream and then I suddenly wake up from a coma that I have been in for 10 years. :ohdear:
So for two nights now I've got to sleep paralysis, my eyes have started opening and my entire vision has swirled, turned 3d (had a weird depth to it that I shall call 4d despite how its not) and occasionally heard some wierd noises.
Shit's weird brah
Slightly? :ohdear:
If I had that dream it would creep me out for days.
Yeahh I guess I never really thought about it much. And that looking back it was actually quite disturbing.
What would happen if you summoned your subconsious and then attempted to fight it?
I don't really see much of a point, to be honest. Once you stop talking to it I'd imagine it becomes more of a random entity you're fighting. Unless you want it to fight dirty and yell things that will like paralyze you with shock or something then it doesn't seem like a good idea.
I don't know, I haven't really experimented much. One guy said he danced with his, I usually just talk. I do have an urge to play basketball with it. But not just basketball.
Space basketball. In a volcano.
I think I almost did a WILD last night.
I kept repeating the "I'm dreaming" thing in my head, and then suddenly the image I was picturing came... clearer - alive I guess, like I was actually there. I woke up instantly though.

Yep, that's it. You wake up because your brain's not entirely sure what the hell is happening.
Before bed last night I was contemplating shaving for the first time, as I have a bit of a stache. That night, I dreamt I had a MASSIVE moustache. As in, more hair in it than on my head.
One guy said he danced with his.
If I'm taking "dance" into the wrong context here (as in fighting.), sorry. But here is what I did basically:
Summoned my SC, had a nice little chat with it (My dreams are unusually real.) about what I should do in my current situation about the girl I like, then we both suddenly had a FAMAS and dueled in an arena of floating pebbles to walk on (Literally pebbles.). I woke up before the fight ended so I don't know the conclusion
Last night in a dream I randomly did a reality check (blow through the nose) and I realized I was dreaming, but I guess I got too excited because I woke up after that. Yay for me.

Your tache is no match for my neckbeard!
:neckbeard:
I've had a few lucid dreams... but in most of them I think "Holy crap, I'm dreaming, I can do ANYTHING!!!"
...and then I wake up.

Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. I'm sure you can do whatever you want with your sub, but I haven't tried.
I just had my first lucid dreams! The first one I didn't know I had one, so I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't, so I tried to shake myself awake and that worked.
The second was about half an hour later, I flew from an island, then I flew to a friend of mine, slapped him with my dick and used him to fly, spinning him like a propeller :v: Then I dropped him and fell to the ground and woke up!
Congrats. :buddy:
I'm trying something new tonight. I won't say anything unless it works, but it involves a little bit of preparation and arts and crafts.
War of origami?
War of origami?
Not exactly, although it involves Ping pong balls, scissors, a radio, and some tape. :science:
I had a dream that I played connect four with George Bush, then he gave me a Rubik's cube and I woke up. Can't recall who won though.
I posted this in the other thread but now it's dead so I'll put it here.
I was trying to induce SP the other night and got very very close. I played out a little story in my head of walking around my village with someone whilst staying absolutely still. I was in my hypnagogic state and I began to feel that strange sensation in my head which I'm guessing is the transition into a dream. I became excited and my heart started beating fast, in my little story which was starting to feel more real I picked up a rock and the sensation became even stronger. At this point my heart was thumping and I had to quit. Should I have been focusing on the sensation, images or - what? Then what should I be doing to get into a lucid dream?
I have a question about dreams.
What if Dan was boobies?
More like what if Dan wasn't boobies.

Why would ping pong balls make you hallucinate?

Your mind thinks you closed your eyes
