That person most likely being me.
i had this dream i was fucking my dog is that normal?
unnecessary, you don't see people boning their pets on the street.
That is a no
It all happen into a big room with chair all around, like the inside of an airplane.
I was just texting Kieran over the internets. Few seconds later the room was full of smoke !
Why ? No idea, I just rushed outside the room ,finding myself into a thigh hallway.
I took my laptop and proceed to text my friend more. Somehow I knew that it was all about zombies.
I took a pencil out and carved into the desk "Days survived : 1" and told Kieran "Long live and survive"before logging out and heading towards the unknown.
Few moments later I find myself in my house at the PC. Offline, as the power supply is dead.
The atmosphere got very dark, probably because the continuous smoke and fire all around.
I managed to get a sniper rifle from my room (wtf ?). The area outside was mountain-ish.
With a desert touch, I scanned the area with the sniper sight. Out of sudden...I see something moving. They were *Fuckit, I don't know the name I used in the dream*...huge ant like creatures with the head of a lion female. I blasted it's torso off with a quick shoot.
Then, behind the mountains an entire horde of them swarmed towards my house, rippling through the dunes. So as I wast outside near my house I notice some people near me that were scared shitless.
The swarm was very close, they were like fucking Skags from Borderlands as attack type, one of them hatched onto my arm and then woke up. I always get lucid when I'm about to wake up.
I never remember my dreams. I tried to start off by remembering my dream last night, but telling myself to remember my dream etc. just kept me awake, and cause me to have problems falling asleep. So I just gave up for that night so I could sleep. But what I didn't realize, and this sounds strange, but I had actually fallen asleep a few times while thinking I couldn't fall asleep... Or... Something like that, it's hard to explain.
Lucid dreams are fucking hilarious.
Progress, Today when I was coming home from somewhere, I saw the security guard sitting outside my neighbors door, like he always does, and waved to him like I always do, and then I remembered that I had a dream about him, and that he had been killed, and I remember seeing blood on the floor, and in the dream I had a memory of what had happened, but I couldn't really remember what that memory was. Wrote it down in my journal, first entry in it. It's weird though, because I'm quite sure that I didn't have that dream last night... I'm not too sure why though, and I can't remember any other time actually remembering the dream. :raise:
My friends left me for dead in L4D.
I've been trying to lucid dream for a while now, but I still don't think I've really gotten even close.
Two days ago I had a dream in which I was essentially THE perfect human (think something along the line of the Fifth Element). I ended up kicking some villain's ass, and during my mandatory (don't ask why it was mandatory, it's a mystery even to me, I just remember it being) looking at the setting sun in a Greek toga holding a spear on top of a hilltop, some odd phrase (which has been stuck to me since) resonated through "time and space" (again don't ask, that's how I remember it)
"Assume your role as an Andros."
That dream was kickass nonetheless. Probably could have been more epic if it was lucid, but still...
I'm still trying to get a lucid one. It's hard...
If I get a lucid dream, first thing I'm going to do is make a robot army.
I didn't get lucid last night, but I had a dream where someone crashed his boat and killed everyone who said how lucky he was.
I had the same dream or variation of it for around 3 years and it scared the shit out of me. The reason being I couldnt distinguish if these were real-life events or not as I recalled the images in my head during the day.
The dreams consisted of me realizing I had murdered or accidentally killed someone, and was attempting to cover it up. It came to the point where in everyday life I was actually questioning myself if these events were real. It wasnt until recently that I came to the conclusion that this was all a dream, since the images have ceased to exist in my head for some reason.
Pretty creepy shit though
I felt like screaming but restrained myself because I was so afraid. This reply, I DO remember. He looked at me in the eyes and I felt a sudden relief, all of my fear and anxiety went away and he laughed and said "it has already passed"
then I woke up
So, your biggest fear was asking your subconscious what your biggest fear was?
I saw a dream on last night in which my glasses broke, I immediately woke up because I knew it could never happen to me. 8)
I keep failing at Wild. Somebody motivate me
I had what seemed to be a normal dream, i was meeting some friends at the pub and we sat down and talked with each other.
And then hundreds of puppies broke in...and they ate everyone.
Seriously what the fuck.
I was in a airport last year going to Italy from Canada and I got really, really fucking sick that I felt like I was going to die. The thing is tho I cant remember half of the time I was there and every time I looked into a mirror I couldn't recognize myself at all. I was even in one of those elevators where they have mirrors on all of the sides and I knew I was looking at my self (because I was alone in it) but I looked completely alien. Also I couldn't read anything for shit but that might just be because most of it was in German. Was i just really fucking sick or was there something else happening.
I have lucid dreams while im awake.
As a young child, i used to dream (as far as I can remember) But after an operation I had on my appendix when I was 6 I for some reason do not remember anything I did whilst dreaming ( I say this because you tell me I AM dreaming when I sleep) I wake up in the exact position I was when I slept, which I find weird as I imagine it to be common to move around when asleep (I've prooved/proved this to myself as I ruined a good pair of sheets by drawing lines around where my body lay), and I also have no recollection of any major events in my past. (I do however remember minor events, for some reason I remember going outside One night when I was 5, not a particular night or anything, just a normal night as any other, night compared to a 5 year old anyway. For some strange reason I remember a book with information about flowers, with the page 223, I've looked for this book but cannot find it anywhere)
I would give anything to be able to remember my dreams again, as I feel like i'm going insane as any normal person is able to remember these.
Guys, can someone give some insight into possible meanings of my dream? Basically, it was set today and for some reason, some type of apocalypse was happening. I found out because I was at an autorepair shop in some desolate area ironically close to the movie theater near me(I live in Brooklyn, so more weirdness there). On the radio, they announced the disaster and it's some type of humongous tsunami, several hundred meters in height. My mom and I along with an Asian kid from the shop jump in the car, and we're driving along the highway to New Jersey(the mainland), and it's nighttime. We're going under a bridge and I'm calling all my family members, then the dream ends as the wave is visible in the distance.

Is it possible to make yourself sick through a dream? I remember having a dream about the zombie apocalypse and getting infected, and when I woke, I was coughing nonstop any my nose was clogged. It went away later that day.

Possibly, but I got the feeling that there were others around me, like it was a mad rush to get out before everyone died, like in any disaster.

Wait, maybe the appendix isn't completely useless, but is actually the "dream organ" This could be a major breakthrough!
All of my lucid dreams are disturbing like the one where i shot myself and had to watch my own funeral and the one where all my teeth fell out is there a way to curb this as it is really freaking me out.
also can you see color in dreams.
Meh, this may or may not mean anything, but I'm big on the Beatles and John Lennon and when I went to go have some mouth surgery, after the IV went in my arm, and I passed out, I began to have this beautifully amazing dream. The sky was every color of the rainbow, and I felt my hands being grabbed. I turned and looked, all of the people were linked in a chain, and we were all black figures. So the "camera" zooms out and shows the earth being ingulfed by the chain of people holding hands. Then I wake up midsurgery to the sound of a drill or something, but I pass out immediatly after I hear the "BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" of the drill. Any relevance?
I hardly ever remember my dreams. The last one I remember was one I had about 3 weeks ago.
It was nothing special. I remember my sister coming over to visit, Super Mario Galaxy 2 arriving in the mail for no fucking reason. I haven't even played Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I remember going into my parents' room, and for some reason the roof was blown apart as if a bomb had been dropped on it, but because it was a dream and I wasn't lucid, I didn't find this strange at all.
After going in, I remember seeing a man and a woman with handguns about to break into the house across the street, in broad daylight (this is possibly I re-watched Pulp Fiction a few days before). As they are talking to each before breaking in, my younger brother bursts in and starts showing me some shit I don't care about, and the people across the road hear him. After that, it was kinda vague. I remember diving to the floor and pulling my brother down with me, and the man and the woman coming to my house instead. I probably woke up around when they came up to the room I was in.
Why can't I have interesting dreams.
I hate that the weirdest things can happen in a dream, but while you're having it, it just seems normal. I only remember one of my dreams every month or so, but when I do, I remember it forever. I still remember dreams I had when I was 5 years old. I don't have to write it down to keep it in my memory. Is there any way I can remember my dreams more frequently? Or is it possible that the dreams I still remember are just the ones from which I awoke during REM?
I remember all my dreams, but since I'm lucid 90% of the time I don't share them because any of the things I dream are of my own doing.
I became lucid along time ago for some reason. I was in an earthquake and was like "JUST STOP!" and it stopped, i then suddenly knew the recipe to coke a cola and sold it to my 6th grade science teacher for a motorcycle that shoots deer antlers and flys. crazy ass night
