I had my first lucid this night. HECK YEAH! I think it was a MILD, but I didn't even do a mantra. I actually met my teeth at reality check.
Good grief I just had sleep paralysis. I woke up a little bit early and went back to sleep facing the ceiling. Then out of nowhere I noticed I was paralyzed and noticed that I was dreaming. I tried to make myself fly outside the window but shit just happened and my view just refracted like there was a huge bulge in the middle of my eyes that refracted the light. So there I was paralyzed and then for some reason, at the right side of my view, there was like a shadow of a circle window with a little girl. For some reason though I wasn't scared. Then something occurred to me to get me out of my paralysis. I thought back of a scene from Kill Bill where Beatrix tells herself to wiggle her big toe. Maybe it was in my mind but I started wiggling my big toe and I could feel myself getting out of the paralysis. So I could move my legs and arms but my body was still paralyzed. So I flung my arms to make me flip over and got up. It was one of the most awesome experiences of my life.
No matter what I do, I can't become aware of my lucid dreams so I can do whatever.
Soo... Is it normal if i have had a shitload of violent dreams lately?

It doesn't sound too out of the ordinary.
As soon as I wake up, I forget what I dreamed about.
I don't know why, but I keep having dreams of zombies!
Symptom of being scarred for life?
I attempted to lucid dream at like 4 o'clock today, I was semi tired, I almost got there I kept going in and out of dreams the second I got in one I stopped. It got annoying so I gave up. The closest I got was some room with a kid with a hat on in his bed smiling then his dog barked and It stopped. Although I got to a point where I could dream about anything I wanted, I could think of something and my mind would make a dream about it, it's too bad I couldn't explore it more than 2 seconds.
Well I had this dream where I took the longest pee in the world, like 1 hour, I was amazed that I didn't do it in real life
Which method is more likely to result in a lucid?
Is it just me who has extremely lifelike, realistic dreams? And in my dream world it can seem to take days, months, years until I wake up?
It fucking sucks if it's a nightmare.
The longest I can remember are only a few hours :iiam:
Every time I'm about to wake up I remember the dream I just had, it's awesome to remember a dream everyday.
So I came home from school as ussualy, the door was unlocked which is not…not…supposed to be. It was like in a game, I got a message that somebody is in the house, on the hallway there was a green snake clogged up on a wood broom. I continued searching the rooms for anybody, finnaly somebody was in grandma’s room. A girl, how the fuck did he get in ? Doesn’t matter. So I hidden from her until she leaved the room to apparently call her friends. I quickly locked the house, some teens began gathering around my yard.
One of the hot looking emo girl somehow managed to get the key from inside the lock and unlocked the door, she had long black hair and was wearing black and white clothes.
The teens went in and began moving mah furniture ( D: ) One of the boys took a laptop with him and connected it to my TV, moved the couch and began changing the channels.
The fuck ? I took my phone out and wanted to call for help, but no, I had common sense, anybody could hear that I was talking. So I just played…DWARF FORTRESS FOR TELEPHONE. YEAH. THAT’S RIGHT. It had stonesense too. So I waited until grandma came home from the trip, all the guys were like “Oh shit” and she asked “Wow, you got home pretty fast.” To one of the guys. He apparently was my cousin. (wut).
:D Even in naps I still remember my dreams.
So lucid dreaming helps remembering dreams ?
I just had my first lucid dream!
I knew I was having one because I could feel my eyelids rapidly moving.
I managed to get into a car and 'spawn' two people.
Then I fucked it up by doing exactly what the OP said not to do: I asked myself what my biggest fear was.
I'm pretty sure I had enough time to take back that thought but I decided to go along with it and an image of a spider briefly flashed before I was 'kicked out' of my dream.
As it happens, I had eaten two pieces of toast two nights prior to the dream, so that helped.
I've recently acquired an alarm clock and I'm gonna try WBTB lucid dreaming. I got woken up by my little brother and went back to sleep the other day, that tends to make me have a dream. Even if I don't go lucid (since I'm lazy about reality checks, etc.), I like dreaming. I don't remember dreams enough, but it seems to have picked back up recently.
Can anyone tell me how come when I try to do a c-wild or wild, I just lay there for hours perfectly still and my body gets numb and nothing else happens? I don't go to sleep or anything. I literally did it for 3 hours last night staying still and nothing happened.
I had a sleep paralysis just the other day.
Fucking God from fucking Begotten showed up and grinned at me. I almost shat my pants. :ohdear:
Girlfriend broke up with me on Monday. We're still best friends, but it hurt.
And my dreams keep being dicks and making it worse. ):

you might be focusing too hard on your counting/other picturing, try to do it less, err, hard? kind of sounds like what i do is all
Just woke up from a night terror I had. :ohdear:
Me and 20-ish other survivors were trapped in a mansion and being hunted like prey by these small creatures, like two-feet long dragons. We all had weapons of some sort, I picked a Glock up off of a deceased policeman, and the things attacked me.
I remember it was crawling on the skylight, so I shot through the light and hit it several times in the stomach, it fell through the broken glass and writhed in pain before I shot it in the head.
One jumped onto my back, and I grabbed it with my hand and shot it point-blank in the head, also.
In the final few moments of the dream, one was crawling on the lamp, it lunged at me, and I smacked it out of the air onto the floor, and shot it. Then, seeing my dead friends around me, I shot myself.
It was weird, because I closed my eyes before I shot, and then I felt the bullet go through my head and out the other side, it didn't hurt at all. But I couldn't move, and the realization of that this eternal blackness may be what the afterlife is like scared me. I shouldn't have been able to know I was dead.
Then I woke up after those few moments of dread, I was covered in sweat and breathing heavily.
I need to start writing stories about this stuff like Lovecraft. I don't like my subconcious. :ohdear:
If you're ready, you can summon your subconscious. You can have long talks with yourself, but it's usually very scary and will probably wake you up. DO NOT ASK IT WHAT YOUR BIGGEST FEAR IS. You won't sleep for days, I shit you not.
:tinfoil: Can you define this, please?

Very good thread. Subscribed and rated Informative.
I had a dream where one of every animal was in a giant room with me.
They were all... well... buttfucking eachother. Interspecies. I was involved as well.
It was kind of in a line formation, like one long chain of anal sex.
I'm not furry, and I have never thought of buttfucking an animal.
Am I insane or something?
Just because it's getting annoying I'm gonna ask this:
I've had some sleeping problems lately, I can basically lie in my bad for hours (1-4) without being able to fall sleep.
Even though I still sleep at least the recommended hours it's starting to get really fucking annoying and just generally bad as I kinda end up sleeping through a long part of the day.
So basically, my question is;
You guys got any tips for falling sleep better or something?
So, help? :ohdear:

Well, I have a Companion Cube plushie and a Vortigaunt plushie, if you have them, you can hug them and they might make you go to sleep faster. :ohdear:
I've never done that, nope... :ohdear:
I had a dream last night that me and my dad were in a small blue and white plane and we were flying in orbit around the Earth. Suddenly, there was a big nuke explosion somewhere in asia and we nose divided into france, dropping nukes on the way from our very small plane.
I just had a dream that I was in a building in the sky or something. So over time the building starts falling and everyone in it to. After a while when we were almost to the the floor everyone said this is it I love you all. then the building crashed and exploded. I woke up in a baseball diamond and only 2 people survived besides me. Although I cant remember who they were.
I can usually remember my dreams, but 99% of the time they are blurred fragments of memory that only seem to last a few seconds and make no sense. Sometimes I get lucid, but I can't think straight, making me forget I'm lucid after a while and I go back into the dream.
No matter what motions you make in your dreams, they won't affect those in real life. Your brain paralyzes your body for this exact reason.
But my body isnt paralyzed whie im asleep. I woke up thusmorning because i acidently kicked a hole in the wall.
