Increasing Chances of Lucidity This only consists of one tip, until I can remember others. But one way to greatly increase your chances of attaining lucidity is this tasty creation. [img_thumb]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3660/3322462679_00b2454aa0.jpg[/img_thumb] Peanut butter banana toast. Taste the deliciousness. (For those of you that are wondering, the Vitamin B12 in the Toast greatly increase metabolic [and therefore brain] activity, the vitamin B6 is famous for improving Dream Recall [go figure], and the peanut butter is there because it is delicious and ties the food together.) Eat one or two slices a night, and it'll greatly improve your chances.
Eating a bowl of raisin bran works too, it has both of those vitamins. [editline]05:17AM[/editline]
Once, I dreamed I was in school. It was my school; I noticed that there was only girls. All of them topless. I just turned my perv face on when I noticed that in the gym, all the girls we're fucking each other with sex toys. Then when a girl bumped into me with her tittes, I awoke.
Avatar related.
Zinayzen seeing as your the sleep master, would a totem work? I don't think ill ever get a WILD mastered anytime soon, SP just freaks me the hell out, but a MILD with a totem to check if im sleeping or not?
Totems are just reality checks. You can't have an item test whether or not you're dreaming or awake because it won't always react the same way every time.
What would happen if I asked myself what my greatest fear was? Why wouldn't I sleep for days? Just cause I was scarred shitless from it or what?
What would happen if I asked myself what my greatest fear was? Why wouldn't I sleep for days? Just cause I was scarred shitless from it or what?
I got kicked out of my dream when I asked myself that.
What would happen if I asked myself what my greatest fear was? Why wouldn't I sleep for days? Just cause I was scarred shitless from it or what?
You have no idea what it truly is. If you ask yourself what your biggest fear is eventually you're going to have to overcome it, in which your subconscious will plant it in your dream and you'll generally freak the fuck out every time. This is what happened to me. It took me a good month to get over it, or at least when it stopped putting it in my dream.
Anyone have tips? I get to the point where my body twitches on its own, and I feel floaty, but I never hear/see much, and my eyes try to open. :saddowns:
God it sucks, I've had nightmares for about 5 days in a row here.
God it sucks, I've had nightmares for about 5 days in a row here.
Try to turn your nightmares into positive energy. Everytime I have a nightmare I hug it or something, usually turns into something nice and then the dream goes along. It's also a reality check sort of, because when it changes, you realize you're dreaming and your dream continues in lucidity
In the middle of my dream I just said to myself that i'm dreaming out of nowhere and that's how I got lucid, but after that I felt me waking up and I tried to spin but it didn't work. Also, how come all my dreams are normal? They're just me going to school or a carnival or snowboarding or something. Nothing special like you guys are having?
Also, how come all my dreams are normal? They're just me going to school or a carnival or snowboarding or something.
I want to WILD so bad, but I'm scared of SP at night. Also, Whenever I try WILDING I try in the morning, is seeing a blue sort of plasma light normal, when you close your eyes for like 3-4-5 minutes? Just wondering because my mom said it was some sort of aura of someone who died or some shit. Does anyone else see a blue plasma light when they try WILDING?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnagogia When you're going from being awake to going into a dream, it's normal to see and hear things.

I keep trying WILD, but fail. Oh well, I guess I need more practice.
I keep trying WILD, but fail. Oh well, I guess I need more practice.
It takes a lot of concentration and can cut into your sleep time
It takes a lot of concentration and can cut into your sleep time
Yeah, you're right. Last night, I was attempting WILD, then I woke up in the morning. Fuck, I slept.
Yeah, you're right. Last night, I was attempting WILD, then I woke up in the morning. Fuck, I slept.
Yeah, most of the time people can't do it mainly because they are piss tired when they wake up and just want to sleep. If you REALLY want to sleep and try to get a lucid dream, I would suggest MILD although, it's success rate isn't high for people inexperienced with it
I just had the craziest dream. Nobody aged at all, and the world was turning to shit. I was like 300 years old and some people were way older. Everyone had spent so much time alive, so they were all really interesting. Also, this my first coherent dream in as long as I can remember. It was fun.
I just can't believe how detailed my dreams are. What gets me is I will hear stuff I never heard before, like lyrics to a song/poem/rap. It would be great if I could write this stuff in real life, espeically new song beats, but I don't know how to write music. I also have hear foreign langauges, what they are saying is not muffled, but I don't understand them, unless I get a white dialgoue below what I see. What bothers me is dreaming about everyday. Dreaming that I am on this site and saying stuff, reading stuff you guys might of said in reality, but never even happened. As for "Be careful dreaming about sex. If you're not disciplined, you'll get excited and wake yourself up. It's very hard to do it, I don't recommend" I never ever experienced that in real life BUT I had this one dream where I felt it and saw it all, full frontal with a desire from school, even the launching sequence! Sorry if thats too gross, but after I was awoke, I checked for bed wetting, there was no evidence my launch sequence ever happened! I also never flew like a bird, plane is different, but I drempt I was on the West Coast of the US or something, it is just unbeleivable the dream I had flying around, all details of the city made sense, I was not even lucid dreaming, I could see the ocean, docks, shipping yards, freight, roadways, highways, all sorts of lane configurations as in reality, all sorts of building styles, stuff/birds flying around, and thought, uh-oh, this is a little too detailed, and I must have been as high as plane usually is. The most positive visual dreams I have had were not even lucid, I want to experience the one launching thing again, not to mention the feeling up that goes with it, but that is difficult. I had this one dream, I am in this convertible sports car, I open the passenger door, I am now half-way out of bed in reality, and the door is actually the blanked I lifed up. What bothers me is your not suppose to see clear words in your dreams, because the left to right thing of your brain, but I can, but not always. In real life, when someone's brain is half-removed, those people don't see stuff the sameway. Has anyone stopped a sci-fi nightmare before? How come when you whip it out, they are all of a sudden are afraid of you, and don't want to bother?
How come when you whip it out, they are all of a sudden are afraid of you, and don't want to bother?
You got a genuine reaction from your subconscious as you would react to someone doing it to you. [editline]05:16PM[/editline]
Has anyone stopped a sci-fi nightmare before?
Define sci-fi? [editline]05:18PM[/editline]
As for "Be careful dreaming about sex. If you're not disciplined, you'll get excited and wake yourself up. You probobly had this the start of the dream, or near it. [editline]05:20PM[/editline]
I just can't believe how detailed my dreams are. It's like writing a complicating unsolvable math problem in your dream, if you try and solve it in your dream you'll probobly do it, but if you try to repeat it, it will make no sense at all
DMT is awesome mayng 12/00 sleep tight every day
In a lot of my dreams I wake up. Whatever I did, said, or saw makes sense. Then when I'm wide awake in like the afternoon it makes no sense whatsoever.
Darnit, most of my dreams doesn't make sense I see lots of surreal things and unknown places, what the hell.
I had a dream where I was killing fuckin' communists. Shit was fun. Also some hot bitch sucked my dick. Pretty cool dream man.

I just tried WILD last night. I did the counting thing and after like 5 mins my eyelids started spazzing and my heart was going faster and harder so I guess I got excited. Then I had trouble trying to go to sleep normally.
Most of my dreams are about my old friends. I mean, 7 out of 10 dreams are about them. I don't know. Maybe i miss em.
In the middle of my dream I just said to myself that i'm dreaming out of nowhere and that's how I got lucid, but after that I felt me waking up and I tried to spin but it didn't work.
What would happen if I asked myself what my greatest fear was? Why wouldn't I sleep for days? Just cause I was scarred shitless from it or what?
I'm really not in the mood to go find my rant about it, but trust me. Whatever you think your worst fear is, you're wrong. There's something far, far worse. Usually it's so incredibly dark and evil and vile that your conscious self just rejects it. This fear has never crossed your mind, you wouldn't even have nightmares about it. But believe me. It's there, and it's not something you want to uncover. It stays with you for days, sometimes weeks. I needed three days of therapy after I tried it, and I didn't sleep for a week. So trust me, unless you're strong enough, don't ask.
