Heh, you lot have very detailed dream journal entries. I do like a few lines like a 50-100 summary, works for me :D I tend to remember my dreams anyway for a few weeks and beyond.
Practice :eng101: [editline]10:14PM[/editline] Looking through my dream journal I'm having a LOT of violent dreams. I don't think that's good :ohdear:
I don't know. I really don't. It said I restrained myself and allowed it to get a genuine reaction from me. The second time I met with my subconscious I had a very deep conversation with it (during my week long dream) and I gained a great spiritual connection with it. Maybe that's why. As for the opening lines of communication, you have to summon it if it doesn't confront you on it's own. The rest is in your hands how it goes
Hmm, alright. It's kind of ironic, because I feel like this is the thing between me and lucid dreaming, and in order for me to deal with it I have to have a lucid dream. Well, I'll figure it out. Thanks for the tips, your posts have really changed the way I look at this.

Ugh should I take a nap and try to induce lucidity? [editline]10:31PM[/editline]
violence is a part of human nature, its only bad if you slaughter your friends and family
Dreaming about violence almost every day is NEVER a good thing
Ugh should I take a nap and try to induce lucidity?
have a teaparty with your subconscious and have a thrilling chat about those darned colonists trying to overthrow the king's colonies
I'm just trying to get as tired as possible before I go to sleep. I use the counting yourself to sleep WILD method and after a while I just get bored/forget and go to sleep normally >_>
Dreaming about violence almost every day is NEVER a good thing
well i'm no therapist so yeah [editline]06:33PM[/editline]
I'm just trying to get as tired as possible before I go to sleep. Yeah, I'm gonna experiment with different methods. This book has tonnes.
I've been trying to remember my dreams for 2 months now to no avail. I've been eating bananas before I go to bed and writing my dreams in a dream journal but... I have only remembered two dreams since I started the journal last week. What am I doing wrong?
Counting to sleep always keeps me awake, like once I'm kind of asleep and forget to keep counting, I'll remember that I'm supposed to be and it will wake me up. I just sort of let my mind wander, it's funny what subjects it will get on randomly right before you fall asleep :v:
I had some weird dream where all the girls had bionic metal tits with flamethrowers that made pizza. Messed up shit.

Once your mind associates the journal with dream rememberance, it'll really pick up.
If I ask my sub concious "Why am I so shy (I'm not as shy as I used to be, but it's an example)?" and it responds, can I convince IT to change, so that I change? Again, the shyness thing is an example.

I believe my book has some techniques relating to this, if I find them I'll scan it in and PM ya.
I had a dream the other night that I was being chased by the Gestapo and I was in the Hellboy universe with aspects of Saw thrown in.
What if I asked what my biggest fear was and then conjured an army of some sort to fucking annihilate it?
Inception on yourself. So I could, theoretically, go to Pandora from Avatar and have a mercenary army that would actually get the job done and kill all the Navi and I'd feel like I was there? Like hearing yelling, gunshots, feeling the heat of fire and shit? Or be a chick and have badass lesbian sex?

Your subconscious is null to emotions from the outside world, it's not telling you to be shy, you're just afraid of what could happen if you did something. I'm gonna nap, will post accordingly. I re read my dream journal and am going to repeat "I would like to meet with you, subconscious." as I fall asleep. Repeat it gently that is [editline]11:21PM[/editline]
So I could, theoretically, go to Pandora from Avatar and have a mercenary army that would actually get the job done and kill all the Navi and I'd feel like I was there? Or not, because you're not familiar with the feeling of something you don't have. Actually that's an interesting experiment [editline]11:25PM[/editline]
I've been trying to remember my dreams for 2 months now to no avail. Say it every once and a while as you fall to sleep, then visualize yourself getting up and writing in the book. I can guarentee results
What if I asked what my biggest fear was and then conjured an army of some sort to fucking annihilate it?
You would wake up of sheer fear before you even have a chance to make the leg of one soldier. Although, it's been proven by a facepuncher here (the hetero fear guy) that it's not always gruesome, but can also be phsycological aswell I still wouldn't take the risk [editline]11:28PM[/editline]
:iceburn:
AFAIK he's not a girl because he wants to be a lesbian chick and have sex. So there was no insult there. :v: I'm off to nap!
Erhm...so after laying still for awhile last night I could feel myself falling in deeper, thought I'd finally have my first lucid. A tingly feeling spread from my stomach to the rest of my body til it landed on my head. And then my face started twitching horribly, kept it under control but trying so hard blocked the lucid and I "woke" up.
Yeah Sex part might wake you up though. Or not, because you're not familiar with the feeling of something you don't have. Actually that's an interesting experiment
if lesbian porn gets you off being in a lesbian porno will wake you up
Whenever I try MILD my eyes will open themselves and show me some visual hallucinations. They were spiders before, which scared me shitless, waking me up. Now they're blobs of goo spreading through my ceiling, and they keep spreading down, like they're going to catch me. Closing my eyes won't do any good though, it wakes me up too. God, that is so real... I can't just stare at "that", it's fucking creepy... Any tips? Should I go ahead and stare at that thing until I get on my dream? And if it's a spider, how will I know if it's real or not? Oh god!
In the order of your post : -I already have like 10 dream journals filled out and keep em in a closet at my house. -If you already know what it'll look like you can imagine it and o the 360 degree trick. If you don't I find it's best to say out loud "When I open my eyes my subconscious will be in front of me" and then do the spin. -It takes discipline because sometimes in a dream you get overwhelmed by that fact that you're dreaming and forget to do it or do it wrong [editline]03:23PM[/editline] Ignore all itches and urges. Turning from being uncomfortable is okay though I remember when I did it I felt bugs crawling on me :ohdear:
I thought you were supposed to stay completely still?
I thought you were supposed to stay completely still?
It's natural for you to turn over in your sleep - so I'm guessing your body won't care if you do it.
Hmm.. I'm not sure how to explain this properly.. It's not that I'm afraid of heterosexuals and I think that all heterosexuals are out to kill me or nothing. It's just that I'm afraid that I might turn into one (which will never happen), because heterosexuality disgusts me, because of the fact that it's "Default" if you will.. Don't worry, I don't let it show irl, I'm only disgusted on the inside.
Oh, you're one of those. Well, if you don't want to do anything basic or default, you probably shouldn't be doing any of the following:

Being on the computer.
Having a computer.
Having a home.
Feeling emotion.
Caring about love or attraction at all.
Go live in the woods, you hippy pseudononconformist. Who taught you that normal was bad? I'm betting you have a gay and/or black relative that lived 30 years ago when "normal" people made you stifle your quirks so you wouldn't be picked out of a crowd. Row row fight the powa. You are stupid, this is fact. Normal isn't bad, and if it is, I dare you to tell me everything going on in your life right now that's completely out of the ordinary.
