Where does your lucid dreams take place? A city, your house?
If I repeated to myself at night "I'm going to goto the Chernobyl zone and I'll remember it" will it take to the STALKER zone as I'm obsessed with Chernobyl and STALKER?
And when I repeat the stuff, do I say it out loud or in my head and how many times?
I think I actually made my first Lucid Dream. Not sure though, I was confused as hell. I was trying MILD at night IRL, then after few hours of sleep I woke up in the morning, 6 o' clock. Stayed awake a bit from all the noise. Then slept again, the I dream about trying WILD, then after that, I become Lucid. Tried putting my hands on the wall it was going through. Then woke up IRL again from noises. :wtc: Was it a Lucid dream? If it is, awesome!
This thread somehow gives me a huge boner.
Very, VERY fascinating stories.
I now tried doing MILD, but... only one problem.
I cant make it trough the first part, which is relaxing.
I really cannot relax for 5-10 minutes without falling asleep D:
I must have had a lucid dream last night but i cant remember it except small parts that hold no value.
Today is the longest i have ever slept and i dreamed the whole time until i woke at like 2:30 pm.
Well, I did the alarm thing (didn't realize that WILD needed an alarm), and it worked, but I didn't take advantage of it.
I was on a beach with some friends (I remember something happened prior to that, I just don't remember what it was), and far away was this other group of people. One of the guys on the other group was a guy from my group (a clone). The guy in my group said "What is Peter doing here? I hate that guy (lol)". Surprisingly enough, this didn't make me realize that I was dreaming. We decided to lay on one place, and I have no idea how, but I suddenly realized that I was dreaming. I thought I was going to wake up from the excitement, but I stayed calm somehow.
Now what did I do? I didn't summon my subconcious, I didn't fly around, I didn't have a massive orgy with Ellen Page and my crush and hundreds of other random women, I didn't do anything of the things I wanted since I began reading this thread. I decided...to go deeper. Fuck you, Zinayzen, if I hadn't read your dream this wouldn't have happened. I laid down, and closed my eyes.
I stayed like this for a while, I guess I'm supposed to fall asleep on my dream, but that didn't happen, then I opened my eyes again and I felt everything fading away. I was like "fuck this shit", but it didn't work, I was on my bed again.
But this is where I get really stupid. I wasn't on my bed, it was a false awakening. I considered this being a false awakening, so I begin rubbing my arms to see if I can go back to the other dream. I think for a second to open my eyes wide to wake up, but if this WAS a dream, I didn't want to lose it. I forget to do any RC, so I suddenly forget that I'm dreaming and play along with this "reality".
My mom comes in and she says it's 3pm, and I slept all day. I think "Holy shit, lucid dreaming makes me sleep longer?". She refuses to make breakgfast :saddowns:.
So here's my first lucid experience since I started (although I started doing it wrong, I attempted WILD when going to bed for the first time, not after waking up), and it was ruined because of my dumbness.
I had another weird dream (don't know if that was before or after the lucid dream). I'll post about that one later.
Really same thing. First time i tried MILD i actually succeeded.
But you know whats funny about it?
I never did relax. i only repeated my mantra just a few times, (like 3)
And just thought about lucid dreaming.
Oh yeah, and another thing thats funny about it is that First time i tried MILD i actually succeeded.
When i fell asleep, first i wasnt lucid. Suddenly just from fucking nowhere i realize im dreaming.
Out of nowhere. really cool when i realized that im dreaming and the "graphics" of my dream improved instantly.
Then i started to think "What should i do..." I desided to make people disappear first. I close my eyes, imagine them not being there and spin a circle and opened my eyes.
When the people did not disappear i just couldnt be arsed to try again.
I was Tired in my dream. (how the heck is that possible)
And i just ended up walking the street and admiring the beautiful "Graphics" my dream had.
it was cool, but i just couldnt be arsed to do anything.
Yeah, i had complete control and i realized what i did when i woke up.
I was really amazed though, because that was the first lucid i had. I was like ":O"
Well, not the very first, i got my first when i was like 6. (i still remember it.)
I was thrown off a platform on water, with an iron weight on my ankle.
When i couldnt hold my breath anymore i gasped in a lot of air and realized im dreaming.
Then i just swam with beautiful fishes, the weight disappeared, and then i swam ricidously fast. The end.
Broke my automerge goddamnit.
I had a homoerotic dream. And my best friend was in it.

I think inception completely fucked our minds
I will never watch inception :smug:
I never did.
I mean by the consistency with ellen page
That's your fault for wanting to fuck her
Success; I think I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time this morning. I set my alarm one hour before I would wake up, and it went off. I tried shutting it off, but I couldn't move my right arm, at all. It wasn't numb or anything, I just couldn't feel it exist, let alone move it; so I had to take my other arm and push it around to get back to bed. I forgot about WILD'ing for some reason. :(
It sounds as if some people are attempting lucid dreaming without perfecting their dream recall first...
That ain't gonna help.

well, if I remember my dreams, I remember them for weeks.
Also, if you have your first lucid dream, don't immeadeadly start do fly and do other strange shit. I tried flying twice, and once I got grabbed by 3 young kids (age 5), i made one invicible, and proceded by accidentally punching him into the face. The second time, I stopped in the air, and a message popped up about a speed limit. So take it slowly, something will stop you.
When I someday induce lucidity the first thing im doing is giving myself electricity superpowers.
I can't wait.

At this point it's the "Oh hey someone interested in something I am" type thing.
Even though an actor is an actor
Attractive - Yes
Bang Magnet - I disagree

InFamous much?
And non, je ne regrette rien is funny.
But also a bit scary. I dunno why tho. Probably get freaked out if I hear it in the middle of the night.
And Ellen Page is hot.
I was going to the store to buy a game, I buy it with polos (what the fuck?) and a black guy gets really angry at me, I have a bottle of coke in my hand so I throw it over him and he melts - I realise I'm in a dream and wake myself up accidentally.
God fucking damn it :saddowns:

She's just cute to be honest.
I'm gonna take a nap now. My sleep schedule must be fucky by now
I wonder why electronics are so high pitched when they actually decide to work.
[editline]05:16PM[/editline]
Maybe it's a frequency thing, cause the brain has a lot of electrical pulses going on, and it requires a different frequency to operate them in the dream.
Electronics emit frequencies at around 20,000 Hz. Our ears pick up that sound and we subconsciously acknowledge it, but our brains don't make the connection and transmit the sound, so we don't think we hear it.
In LDs, our dreams are more vivid, and sounds are amplified and purer. Which is why you can also see colors you've never seen before.

i don't know. there's just something about her that makes her a good candidate for subbing a sub.
urgghhh
Shattered after having a trip to the pub, should make WILD a lot easier to achieve.
doubt it, it's harder drunk
I had a dream the other night that I was being chased by the Gestapo and I was in the Hellboy universe with aspects of Saw thrown in.
Mr.Gestapo was chasing you? You better snip before you get banned.
i almost realized i was dreaming the other night when there were black power fists on my 2 dollar gold coins
i asked why this was and i reasoned "someone must have left them out!" and that was that
Drunk before a dream sounds like a nightmare

I can't remember my dream at ALL
Anyone else hate fences in dreams? Because everytime there's one I uncontrollably need to jump over it and when I land I wake up and get a chill down my spine, just not the good kind of spine chills.
I don't hate fences.
I usually never even have to climb them in my dreams

ONE OF YOU POST GOD DAMNIT
It's funny how things in real life can leak into your dreams. Like around 5am I woke up and had to piss really bad. Knowing that I could easily hold it while I was asleep I just waited until the urge subsided and fell asleep again. But I dreamed of peeing, like I couldn't stop, I was peeing everywhere, it sucked :tinfoil: Then I woke up and went to the bathroom.
[editline]06:01PM[/editline]
Also I've been meaning to keep a dream journal but I keep forgetting :frown:
