So let me get this straight. Do you have to go through SP to achieve WILD?
So let me get this straight. Do you have to go through SP to achieve WILD?
As far as I know, no, it may be an unfortunate bi-product of Lucid Dreaming though, but I assume you'll be a strong enough guy to pull through it :)
So let me get this straight. Do you have to go through SP to achieve WILD?
AFAIK, yes. I believe you can do WILD without it, but if you get up and start walking in your dream, chances are you'll end up smashing in to your wall IRL (because you haven't "locked" yourself to your place of rest)
I don't think that's possible. Seeing as it's all contained inside somebody's head. The closest you'd get is reading their experience of a dream and re-enacting it, imagining them and their scenario. [editline]08:03PM[/editline] Zinayzen's stated that you can go all Allah and be all like "let there be light" and it works. [editline]08:04PM[/editline] We should totally have a members list in the OP.
Very very very sceptical about this one, but apparently you can: http://www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk/
I'm not too clear on it myself. For LD, how long have you got to be in SP for? Just a few seconds, then you utter "I'm in a dream I am lucid I love penis bla bla"

Does anybody know if MILD can start SP or if its just WILD?
So let me get this straight. Do you have to go through SP to achieve WILD?
With all of my experiences, yes. SP isn't consistently bad or uncomfortable. Sometimes you'll just go numb and see patterns in your head but other times you see objects, hear voices or screaming and can't move. As long as you know everything is a hallucination it isn't too bad, think of it as a new experience. Biological LSD, haha.
I'd rather not have some freaky doll or some shit pop into my head [editline]0[/editline] CURSE YOU JACK SPARROW YOU BROKE MY AUTOMERGE :pirate:
I'd rather not have some freaky doll or some shit pop into my head
You win some, you lose some.
I'm gonna try MILD first then WILD then intentional SP. I should pee and shit before I do SP so I won't shit or pee myself in bed.
I'm gonna try MILD first then WILD then intentional SP. I should pee and shit before I do SP so I won't shit or pee myself in bed.
You understand SP happens naturally during the course of regular sleep, whether you know it or not, it's just the bodies natural way of shutting down all unnecessary functions to rest and recover. So unless you always literally shit yourself when you go to bed, you won't need to make an exception.
Since i had experience with sleep paralisys (scariest experiences of my life), i think i am going to try WILD. Anyone tried to give himself additional limbs in LD and making them feel things? Like additional hands and gaining feeling in them?
Very very very sceptical about this one, but apparently you can: http://www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk/
That looks like trippy shit. 2 days ago Gurant was in my dream... I was at a party and Gurant was there and I was like "Gurant?" and he said yeah, and I screamed "It's me, rathat!" and he was like "who?" and I woke up. ):
That looks like trippy shit. [editline]08:21PM[/editline] So when doing WILD/MILD, do you do the scary one or the lockdown one?
There is no specific "scary" one, the reason the scary one happens is because people usually wake up and panic when they have SP, due to this, their brain immediately assumes something is wrong, and because it's still dreaming, it creates nightmares. If you feel entirely content and relaxed and you're prepared to see some odd, but not necessarily scary stuff in real life, you'll be fine, just don't panic, you'll become paralysed in any case :). [editline]08:27PM[/editline] Also, adding on to that, people panic because they're unprepared, and are usually just waking from normal sleep, because you know this happens now, you should be fine.
I tried WILD during the day, I got into the hypnagogic state but I dozed off before I could enter the dream. Before falling to sleep i saw a pair of eyes and some interesting shapes. Today, I will be sure to keep awake.

I had a Lucid Dream before, was in my bedroom and there was a group of about 3 friends sitting by the door, watching T.V. For some reason unknown to me, one of them picked up a pen and I suddenly got very scared and panicked - waking myself up. I looked back on it and thought what the fuck.
holy shit randy ol buddy ol pal ol friend i remember you from minecraft too
You minecrafters seem to be quite interested in becoming lucid :P
You minecrafters seem to be quite interested in becoming lucid :P
Yeah, I find that weird. Me, Orkel and Randomass have turned up here, completely unaware of oneanother's presence.
Had a sleep paralysis dream the other day where people at McDonalds had their eyes roasting out ,and this one girl who works at a local McDonalds was trying too collect the melting eye gook ,and I dived into the trash bag ,and woke up... Is this normal or is it screwed up in form?
goddammit i'll just put it in the op jesus christ
I've been wondering, what if you ask your subconscious what your biggest fear is, while mentioning that you don't want to see it, just know what it is?
I play Minecraft as well. :buddy:
The intention of our minds is powerful. It's also a curse. [sp]extra brownie points for whoever gets the reference[/sp] [editline]08:40PM[/editline]
I play Minecraft as well. :buddy:
Shit.

Ah alrighty.
Fuck, with all this sleep paralysis discussion going on, I'm scared to try WILD now. :ohdear: For some reason, when night comes, I become a complete pussy and start having scary thoughts going through my head, I'd rather not stay awake and let them accumulate even more.
WILD is the most effective in my experience. The only shame is the SP that comes if you do it wrong. I still want to know who that girl was in one of the imagery.
