MS Paint interpretation NOW.
Ok will do now
Well Im back from school. Ill scan my sketch I made a 6am and Ill make photoshop version of it. Gimmie a few minutes.
Well, I'm new to this and I had my first lucid dream in which I contacted my subconscious. ANd I also did what the OP says not to do. I asked what my biggest fear is.
Story starts now:
I find myself walking around a local shopping center with my family, I also now have a beard. Being new to this, I wasn't really sure how to start thinking of kick ass stuff because this is probably my third lucid dream. So I started experimenting and I'm somewhat paranoid so I wondered if someone is going to break into the store next to me. Then a man did. He ran out of the store, looked at me, and shot me in my fucking chest. And, surprisingly enough, it hurt.
Then I woke up in a black room. I didn't know how big it was because there was like a black fog. I thought of how people say they meet their subconscious in their dreams so I thought of that. Before I could finish the thought, I saw two eyes open somewhere in the fog. You know, like those scary pictures where you just see the eyes in the dark shadow? Like that. So I was kind of scared, but I kept calm. I don't remember exactly what he said, but it had something to do with how I'm crazy or something.
I was starting to get kinda pissed, so I tried to approach it, but then I found myself in a small padded room, like in a mental institution. The door had an eye slot and it slid open, those same eyes were looking at me through the slide. I could see some of his face. His face was completely burned. He asked me if I had any questions. I asked him what my biggest fear was. He smirked, chuckled, and said "I'll start you off easy."
I woke up laying on sandy, rocky ground. I opened my eyes to see a bright blue sky and shining sun. I stood up and realized that the clothes I had on were really uncomfortable, like cardboard clothes. I recognized the town as what I imagine an old Mexican town looks like in old Westerns; cactuses, horses, adobe buildings, etc. I wobbled over to one of the houses to rest against it. I said to myself "Eh, this isn't bad at all." Then I burst into flame. I shit you not. I fucking lit up. It was the most painful thing I could imagine. When I died, I woke up.
The end.
Ok so here it is. I also felt the symbol. As in when it manifested i could feel everything shake and my vision shake and go blurry.

Here is the animation I tossed together:

Edit: Im also pretty sure when it manifested I heard a chick scream "WAKE UP!" But that could also be a figment created after I had the dream seeing as I didnt "remember" that part until later today.
:wtc:
Was it really necessary to make a .gif of it?
Will go for a night's worth of sleep, I'll post results.
Was it really necessary to make a .gif of it?
Seeing as I couldnt exactly find the right words to describe it, and that it took less than 15 minutes. I would say yes.
Was it really necessary to criticize my post?
Stories here would be much more interesting if people showed us the imagery they saw. I would love to see the things they see.
I had a dream where we were visiting our old neighbourhood, but our house was our new house, and we were gonna visit a neighbour, but I stayed at home and took some apple sauce and started masturbating with it.
Nothing lucid, but I remembered fractions of dreams during the day.
The alarm thing doesn't work on weekdays.
My closet flooded. Lost four boxes of journals.

I live in new york when is that ever going to happen. Let alone have her come to me.
And I napped longer than I anticipated.. but an epic story follows it.
One word : Bioshock.
Since I have things to do I'll post it later tonight.

what if you see a movie with her in it, and a character has your name and she calls out to that character, oh jesus
I would know I'm not dreaming because TV's or projectors don't work in dreams.
However, everytime I DO see her in a movie I have some sort of flashback to a dream I've had.

My bathroom is right next to my room and the sink's directly across from my closet wall. I guess a crack was forming or something but then i tripped and slammed into my shower wall and it just broke through and the water was going and the pipes were broken and stuff. I had to get the bigger valuables out first.
When you said that your DJ's were flooded my sister came in the room and said that our bathroom was flooded.
COINCIDENCE?!

I need to go deeper
How does one start a dream journal...If one can not remember his dreams to write? :tinfoil:
Practice. Repeat "I will remember my dreams" in your head when you lie down in bed and before you feel yourself going to sleep. When you wake up don't move but try to remember as much as you can before you write.

It'll take a few days for your mind to get the hang of it
How does one start a dream journal...If one can not remember his dreams to write? :tinfoil:
It's a skill, and you have to exercise it and practice it just like any other skill. Repeat something like a mnemonic. "I will remember my dreams." is always a good one. Just repeat that as you go to bed (make sure you don't focus on it, though. just let it sit in the back of your mind.)
Eventually, it'll work. Once you wake up (try to wake up naturally), just chill out for a bit without moving and let your brain catch up. If you have flashes of really weird memories, chances are that was a dream you had that night. If you get that, try to focus on it and visualize it, and then write down details in your journal. No one else will read it, so just write whatever you want. Mine's rarely full sentences, just key phrases and a lot of pictures and descriptions.
If you don't remember them in the morning, there's also a chance you remember them later in the day. I almost always remember them either in the morning or around 4 pm, oddly enough.
Alright. I hope I'll go Lucid tonight. Night guys.
