It's a complete placebo, and a 35% success rate isn't that great in a test pool of 10 people, especially when you take those ten people from a forum that's known to have lucid dreamers. The blind test does slightly go against what I'm saying, but not by much. If you have results with this, I'll try it out myself. But I'm pretty sure it's crap.
If Zinayzen and Jake can do lucid dreaming on their own without any of that crap along with the many people at dreamviews then you don't need pills or a mask to do it.

Out of curiosity how long does it take to get a good enough dream recall that you can remember atleast 1 a night? I realize it'll be awhile but whatever.
My internet works on prepaid cards because I only visit so often and it would be dumb to buy a complete monthly plan.
How can one sleep when it's hot outside and is anxious for the next day?

Hurry and post your story, Jake >:(
Going to sleep. Is eating cookies and shit to not be hungry before bed unhealthy or changes my chances of lucidity? Will read answer tomorrow, I guess.
No matter what I do prior to going to sleep, I always dream about the most out of place, awkward-esque type of shit. There's always going to be some fucking creepy creature trying to ass rape me, or chase me, or make me not want to remember when I wake up. Or I have those types of dreams where something nice is about to happen, but I wake up.. why? Fucking alarm clock.
[QUOTE=Hmn30;24355382]Going to sleep. Is eating cookies and shit to not be hungry before bed unhealthy or changes my chances of lucidity? In fact, if you eat things with high levels of vitamin b a little bit before you go to bed you'll improve your recall, and likely increase your probability of having a lucid dream.
Story in two min, just proof reading and adding paragraphs [editline]04:29AM[/editline] A little background information that I mentioned before. Instead of actually summoning her or having a dicussion about that weird dream I had I decided I was going to replay the dream. I re-read the dream a good amount of times until i had it memorized. During my WILD routine I imagined what it would be like to go lucid in that dream in particular and kept my mind focused on that. I was successful and stepped into the dream I had. [quote=Dream Journal]I decided to replay my dream from today and change it up a little bit. It started off as the dream previously did. I was sitting down backstage in some sort of concert or acting starring my subconscious. I was looking around and there was one of her body guards. I recognized him. (outside note : This was the man that always raided my house/caused trouble in my dreams) I was writing something down at the time when I notice my subconscious walking out to the back of the stage, crying as if something went wrong. I just watched her cry and walk to a chair furious. The body guard was talking to her giving her comfort, and looked at me with a smug face. I got angry. I stood up and went to go comfort her as well. Suddenly this body guard pulls a knife out on me. "You go back to your chair pretty boy" he said to me. I started making my way back. In my previous dream I went back to my seat and watched her cry. I didn't this time. I gained control of my body and realized I was dreaming. I rubbed my hands together and made sure I didn't wake up for this one. I walked up to him. "Didn't I tell you to go take your seat you wanker" he tells me. I nod with a grin. "I dare you to pull that knife out on me again." I said to him. "Or what?" he asked. He pulled the knife out and stuck it close to my face. "Not gonna be so handsome when you'll be missing an eye." he said to me. I grinned even more. I kick his leg and grabbed the knife out of his hand. "Not so tough without a blade are you?" I said to him. I twirled the knife in my hand. "Go control the crowd" I said to him. I decided I was going to play along with the dream and see what would happen if I wasn't so cowardly. I pulled a chair up near my subconscious. "Is this seat taken" I asked. She looked at me, still crying and shook her head. I sat down. "You know what makes me feel better?" I closed my eyes and imagined choclate behind my back. I reached to my back and sure enough, a box of chocolate. "Chocolate!" I said happily. She smiled a little bit. "I love chocolate.." she said to me. I opened the box and handed her a peice. She ate it and smiled. I imagined a box of tissues on the table behind me and closed my eyes. There it was. I grabbed a tissue and wiped her eyes with it. "I didn't think you of all people would be such a cry baby eh?" I said jokingly. She giggled. "My name is Ellen." she said offering her hand. "David" I replied shaking it. She looked down. "So um.." she said. She brushed her hair to the back with her hand. "Maybe you could" she paused. "I am so bad at this, I'm sorry" she said embarrased. "Pretend like I'm not here." I said to her. "Wait that can't be right, you don't talk to ghosts do you?" I said joking. She laughed. I couldn't help but smile at how she was acting. It was really strange. "You were saying" I said. "Oh right well I was going to ask if maybe you could walk me to my dressing room or something" she said. "I'd be happy to" I responded. Her face lit up. She grabbed my hand and started walking me to her dressing room. As we were walking I saw the area she burst out of. I decided to keep playing along and not go check out what the big fuss was over there. The body guard that was comforting her earlier was walking through the hallway and stared at me. We passed by him. I turned around and stuck the finger at him with a smug on my face. We arrived at the dressing room. "Can I" she paused. "invite you inside maybe?" she continued. I pretended to think for a moment. "Sure" I said. She opened the door and let me in. The dressing room looked like a hollywood type dressing room. She walked me to her makeup station. "And this is where I um" she fiddeled with some things "do my hair and make up and all that I guess" she said, then looked down. "I'm sorry I can't do this" she said again. She grabbed my shoulder. "You're dreaming David snap out of it" she said to me. "Oh I know" I said back. Her eyes widened and she stepped back. "What" she said in surprise. "You mean to tell me you knew the entire time you were dreaming." she asked again. "Well not the entire time technically." I replied. "I'm surprised you didn't notice I mean this IS the second time this dream's happened" I said again. "I know but the first time.." she hesitated "The first time you didn't realize it." she continued. "Oh you looked cute with your acting I can't tell if you truly meant it or not" I said to her smiling. I saw the embarrased look pass her face again. "So tell me then" I continued "Why did this scenario take place?" I asked her. "I don't mean this one in particular, I mean the last one where I was helpless." She thought for a second. "I just wanted to see how you'd react to something" she said. "To what, exactly?" I asked. "It's not important" she replied again. Silence. I walked up to her with the box of chocolates I gave her earlier. "You know I wasn't acting everything" I said. She looked at me. I pulled a chocolate out of the box and ate it. "Chocolates do make me feel better" I said with a smirk. She laughed a little bit. I offered her some. She took a chocolate out and ate it, now smiling. "And you called me a bad actor, psh" I said to her. "I woke up before I had a chance to see what would happen after I watched you cry" I said to her. "What was suppose to happen" I asked. She finished the chocolate she took. "You were the one that was suppose to comfort me." she said to me. "Sometimes you're too cowardly." she said again. "Well I don't exactly know how I was suppose to take on a knife." I responded. "It's not just that" she said taking another chocolate. "Whenever someone has the advantage over you, you completely shut down, in normal situations to." she said. "You've gotta learn to take more risks" she told me. She ate half of the chocolate. "Yeah but the odds are against me, the only reason I succeeded was because I knew I was dreaming and ultimately knew there was no consequence." I said to her. I handed her the rest of the box. "Do you want to know what my real plan of that dream was?" she said. "I was going to keep this dream in loop until you naturally decide to take the risk" she said. "I know that the body guard was a star in your previous dreams, and I used myself as bait seeing as it's the one consistent thing you care about that isn't your family" she continued. She finished off the chocolate. The lights above us got brighter. "It's like dice" she said. A pair of dice appeared in her hands. "You have six different numbers." she said shuffling them in her hand. "If you were to roll this pair of dice and try to get a 7 total you would have more of a chance getting anything below or above it." she continued. I looked at the dice. "What you refuse to believe is" she threw the pair. "Each individual dy has the exact same amount of numbers you need to roll that combination. 6 out of 36." The dice continued sliding to the end of the carpet. "That would mean that individually you had the exact same chance of getting 7 then you do any other number." the dice stopped, landing on a 2 and a 5. "No matter what the advantage seems to be there will always be the same odds that you or anyone else has on the situation." she said again. She looked at me. "It just matters whether you choose to become part of the balance or let it slide through your hands." she said again. It made sense to me but I wasn't sure if that was dream logic or real logic. "Well thank you for that insightful opinion." I said. I stood up. "I should wake up now" I said to her. She stood up and gave me a hug. "By the way, why were you crying earlier" I asked. She grinned and waved goodbye. My vision started fading and I woke up.[/quote] Make what you want of it, be bored and don't read it, or say something stupid I dunno.
I laughed when your sub was like "ok screw this I can't do this anymore"

Dream confirmation. Fuck yeah.
Yeah that's why I said you got me spot on. I'm interested in hearing if that dice thing is really true. I have never heard that even slightly prior to this dream

My problem with it is that it doesn't make sense. It's a very odd math analogy, but her point seemed to be that your odds of rolling a 7 are significantly lower than rolling 2-6/8-12. Which is true. Then she goes on to say that what you can't believe is that your odds of rolling a 7 are just as likely as you rolling anything else, as far as each die is concerned. problem is, that's not entirely true. There's a 1:6 chance you roll Number #1 of the two number combination you need. You've roughly got a 1:36 chance of rolling a 7 with any given combination. So your sub's math is off. More likely than not her point was that there's always more than one solution to a problem and if you get too caught up trying to figure out how to solve it with the solution you're completely comfortable with, opportunities will pass you by. So basically keep yourself open to new opportunities and ideals. Sounds like it's trying to prepare you for college.
I knew it was dream logic god damnit [editline]04:46AM[/editline] I thought I magically picked up some math skills :crying:
