Heres a list that I THINK should work:
-Lie down, get comfortable and close eyes.
-Try to fall asleep whilst staying awake - relax and all that jazz.
-If you hear sounds and see images then you are close, try not to move or anything.
-I don't know what happens here I am not an expert, I guess you just appear in the dream knowing you are dreaming.

He leaned forward to whipser into my ear. I leaned forward as well. Suddenly I get kicked in my leg and he starts laughing. I extended the baton and tazed the living fuck out of his arm. The people in the airport looked back to hear his shreiks of pain. I stopped. "Take him to confinement we'll talk to him in the morning after he's had a nice taste of prison." I said to the rest of the guards. I started walking away. I heard beating behind me and when I turned around the two guards that were taking him were on the floor beaten up and the man was running. Max was laughing. I took a mug off the floor and tossed it at him. I started chasing the man. More guards appeared with guns ready to shoot. "Don't shoot him we need him alive" I yelled. I caught a glimpse of my side and saw some of my old classmates sitting down looking amazed. I bursted through the glass doors in the front of the airport. I was now in a feild with a fenced off caged type area. He had his hand cuffs off and climbed over the tall fence. I decided not to climb it and instead walked through the fence doors. The doors were gigantic. I undid the pad lock by smashing it with a fireaxe that was conviently placed in the grass beside me. I walked through the doors. The man was in the corner of the feild. I ran to him. I found half a gun on the floor, a revolver. I hoped he didn't see it and picked it up and pretended it was a gun, using both my hands to cover the non existent handle. "Don't move and put your hands up" I said. The man noticed I didn't have the entire gun. He started walking towards me slowly. I pulled the trigger hoping that by some miracle it would work. It did work, but no bullets, just blanks. He looked at the fireaxe I threw to pick up the gun. I looked at it as well. We both ran towards the axe. He grabbed it first but I wrestled him down. We were now fighting over the axe trying to get it first. After a good while I kicked him to the side and picked the axe up. I didn't want him dead so I thought of a key point he would lose that would shock him out of resisting. With all my force I swung the axe over my head and chopped his leg off. I heard a long scream. He still used his arms trying to get the axe so I cut off one of those too. Now he was screaming louder. The rest of the guards arrived. "Call a paramedic and take him straight to his new cell." I said to them. I turned to him. "I'm sure we can hold you without trial seeing your record." I said to him. I walked out of the fenced area and started making my way back to the airport. I was pushed down by something and my face went straight into the grass. I woke up immediatly on contact with the floor[/quote]
It's no lucid dream, but it was a pretty cool normal dream.

Lucid dreaming seems scary. I don't like the idea of messing with my sleep/mind like that. Is that normal?
Also, why does this thread remind me of Inception?

Yeah it's normal to have doubts and concerns
I like to think if I ever go lucid I will instantly summon my subconcsious and have awesome adventures.
In reality, I'll probably wake myself up with excitement - or wake myself up by jumping out of a window trying to fly.
I think Ill have a go at MILDing from now on, see where it gets me.

That's pretty much what floaters do to me. Except they stay in my direct line of sight so they distract me when I'm driving.
