k if you go straight to vault 87 you free your dad from Paradise or whatever its called (haven't played it in a while) then you go to the Jefferson Memorial. He dies no matter what.
Figure I may as well contribute with a dream (unfortunately not a lucid one) I had a few months ago. Replacing names and people with various letters.
It began with me sleeping (or atleast trying to) in that area between the school pool and the locker rooms.
(A) and (B) are standing in front of me when (A) asks me what pokemon I was.
I replied "Steelix."
I could hear (B) saying something along the lines of "He's talking while he's asleep!" I somehow change back into a human (I was a Steelix before in case that wasn't clear), sip from my hip flask, and immediatly start running towards the beach.
As I hit the beach I turn into a Suicune and begin creating enormous tidal waves that slam into the buildings along the coastline.
When I pulled my hands towards me the waves crashed down into whatever was in front of them, when I pushed my hands away from me the waves grew in size and height.
After making a few destructive waves, I run into my house as a Tododile shouting my name like they did in the TV shows.
My sister yells, "Is (C) a Tododile?!"
I immediatly turn around, run out of the house, run back down to the beach where I jump up (as Suicune again) onto a destroyed second story building.
Some black lady is shouting at me as I create more Tidal Waves that quickly shut her up.
From this point I can't really remember how I get to this next part.
I'm in a small arcade lined with a good 20 classic games. They were mostly large consoles with guns attached.
A few of the consoles have multiple games, one even had Resident Evil 2 and 3.
I walk around until I find a shooting game called "Very Very -- -- II"
I play this through several levels before taking a break and walking around.
I see there are a few crates scattered about with these really pixely rats running out of them.
A large turret (maybe half the size of the average mattress) pops out of the ground in front of me.
The gun shoots the rats and pixely blood sprays out from them before they disappear.
This seems to be a never ending process so I go back to the shooting game.
The game gives me a little tutorial on the scoring and something about prizes before it lets me continue on.
Yup.
Stop playing Pokemon
Reposting question: Is learning a proper technique crucial to lucid dreaming or is it something you can learn on your own?

You can go into it on your own but if you want to consciously induce lucidity you gotta learn the proper technique for it.

Nostalgia.
Learning a proper technique makes it easier to achieve lucidity
but if you want to be a rebel sure
maybe you should try beating your sub up and putting it into a jail
maybe you should try beating your sub up and putting it into a jail
Oh come on you guys can't be THIS stupid
would that really surprise you?
Zin, where is my incest story. :silent:
maybe you should try beating your sub up and putting it into a jail
You try it.

Question I asked earlier in the thread: Does masturbating have an effect on dreams whatsoever?
Does your sub share the same emotions as any normal person would?
Is it capable of hating you if you're a big enough douche to it?
YOUR SUB IS NOT A SEPARATE PERSON, IT IS YOU
jesus
and no, if jerking off affected dreams, i'd never have a normal one
ok good
What are random people in your dream if they aren't your subconscious? Figments of your imagination? What's the difference?
And what does happen if you try to kill your subconscious? Is it possible?
Starving and going to attempt lucidity again. Vonderland, here I probably won't come!

I'd like to think I understand this, but I don't. Having no first hand experience on the matter, it's hard for me to visualize this. But hopefully that will change when I sleep tonight.
I finally started my dream journal. Dreams seem a lot longer when you write them out.

No it is not possible.
Projected memories put into the dream scenario. Sub controls the dream, projections play it out.

Well your subconscious is the part of your mind that becomes active once you're not conscious(or not supposed to be conscious), so it is your brain. Everything your dream came from your brain. I don't see what the difference is between having sex with your sub and having sex with someone else in your dream. That's what I wanna know.

I'm confused. So when you become lucid you control the sub or something? Or take its job?
Think of your subconscious as the part of your mind that governs essential tasks, like memory management, motor skills, making your heart beat and making you breathe unconsciously. It manifests itself in a dream because dreams are in the mind. It creates dreams and you essentially visit them. It plays scenarios out to process information like memories and information. Thats why they can be so random.
When you become lucid you get powers because you're "bending the rules" of the dream world that you're in. Your subconscious that controls the scenarios will either let you do whatever you want or just shut you down, usually with good intentions in mind. You don't control the sub because the sub is you.
That's my whole understanding of it.
[editline]10:23PM[/editline]
Of course I could be totally wrong.
[editline]10:23PM[/editline]
And with that I'm out. See you tomorrow maybe.

Damn illiterates :argh:
Normally I'd get mad at people for not reading, but the thread's 74 pages long and half full of me rambling.
I once had a dream which involved millimeter-long ants hatching out of my wrists.
I tried to burn them and they turned invisible.
But seriously, dreams confuse me. I've never really thought about what's going on when I'm in a dream, or even why they happen. It's just something I try not to confuse myself with, I guess.
