They're RWD
What the actual fuck? http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicles/1series/3door/2007/allfacts/engine/rearwheeldrive.html
I've driven several, in snow. I kid you not, they're sold as FWD here! :tinfoil:
I fucking love some hondas
I like none riced civics, integras, and of course, s2000s and NSXs. I'm not too interested in their crossovers etc.

Uh... BMW doesn't make ANYTHING fwd.
And they won't be until... Next year I think. Or the year after.
I like Hondas for very different reasons than most people.
The chassis are light, other than that theyre pretty lack-luster (poor rigidity, bad suspension, etc.)
The styling isnt particularily interesting and I could care even less for what people do to them for the sake of looking cool. Admittedly I do like the EJ/EK civic body style, but most of the others I just accept the way they look due to their weight.
Honda engines are what really impress me. Even the lowly D-series economy engines are capable of impressive NA output compared to many other manufactures.
They are elegantly simple both mechanically and electrically, making them among the easiest cars to work on and modify.
Then you add the huge aftermarket support and the low price for tuning hardware and you have the basis for a cheap and effective race car.
Also, I disslike a lot Honda owners. But thats another discussion.
Their newer engines are pretty weak to their competitors.
I like Ferosso's civic. Acuras are generally pretty nice, NSX is dead sexy but it's an Acura over here. CRXs are pretty nice too. Civics are really reliable and hold their resale for a long time. They're just very generic stock. Some ones like Ferosso's are dead sexy though.

not even just N/A, turbo'd they're pretty impressive aswell, can't say I've ever heard of any other brand 1.6 doing 700hp.
I don't mind Honda's it's just that over here in central jersey there are honda's EVERYWHERE and they are beat up with a fart cannon and always try to race. I'm just trying to go get a hotdog jeez just because your car is loud doesn't make it fast silly. I see a few that are really nice.
My Civic is extremely loud, but I don't have a fart can on it.
It actually has full 2.25" piping from engine to rear bumper, with a catalytic converter, smog legal (if we even had smog here). I run low restriction exhaust so the high comp D can spin up fast and easily, but that means it's also hella loud. At least it's bellowy and not RATTATATATATTTATATA like every other ricebox around here.
God, it's sitting out there in the shop and all I have to do is get a clutch and head gasket and I can drive it again. I'm so excited I could just shit.
Then again I still have some cleaning and painting to do, polishing, gotta dig up my correct pressure plate now too.
fake and gay
fake and gay
"Your inability to form a complete sentence" for 500 Alex!
It's the people that make up their horsepower numbers that get to me "yeah my hondas got like 600 or 700 Horsepower",when they don't. But other then that CRX's are the shit.
I find it interesting that you left no option for not liking hondas. Like, I PERSONALLY think they're just cheap feeling cars. I don't particularly like the FEEL of any honda. Its just my preference.
Like, you had an option for not caring ABOUT hondas. But I'd like a not caring FOR hondas option.
I don't like Honda's for :
Their drivers being douche (Not all, but many)
The way the douches rice the shit out of them
4 Cylinder
Silly Vtec
Non-american
it has been said but
nsx and s2000
the rest is FWD "junk"
I say "junk" not as in they're bad car, but I hate anything remotly fwd. Plus where I live, all the douche and dumb 16yo drives honda and they usually street race at every light. My sister has been caught in a accident with two civics street racing on a two lane (one-one) facing the wrong way. Fortunatly she was barely hurt but those two idiots could of had easily killed her
So, what exactly is the problem with FWD?
Can said problems be cured by a stiffer rear sway bar?

As a fan of the BTCC and WTCC, I have nothing against FWD.
I mean, I'd like to see a RWD car recover from this:

People say it's hard to put down a lot of power with FWD but I disagree, it's about the same as trying to put power down with RWD without all the dangerous "Am I going to die?" moments you get from breaking loose at the line/wheelstands/etc.
I used to completely hate them to the point where I vowed to never drive one but back then all I knew about Hondas was lawnmower engines and ugly ass 4 door 2000+ civic commuter cars. After about 2 years of viewing the forum my opinion has radically changed to the point where I would love to own something like what Bradley has.
Also, best of both worlds:

Practical as fuck.
I might as well get this off my chest. I think most hondas, especially the 80s/90s ones you all adore, are just boring. There's nothing really unique or special about them in my opinion. In my eyes, they're just cheap, reliable, run around cars. I know there are performance models but a lot of them have barley over 100hp.
Like that shuttle thing got you guys excited but if I see nothing special about it. Im not bashing Honda, they're perfectly fine cars but in my opinion, nothing special. Sorry
The wagovan/shuttle is more capable offroad than your silly, equally boring box of a 2WD Jeep.
Yeah, I said it.

Explain to me why you dislike a car because it isn't American. What quality does it or does it not have that only American cars have?

I'd say these Hondas are pretty American. Seeing as though they're designed, make and sold solely for the US market. Japan, EU, Asia etc have their own versions.

somebody doesn't know how much power can be made on those honda engines...

Damn you! You stole my words!
If I had a NSX... I'd sleep in it. Never saw one irl.

Honda engines are the "overclockers" of car engines?

Guess you could call them that...
There's a red first-gen NSX that I occassionally see parked at the Japanese Steakhouse near me.
Cool, the last time I've seen an NSX is years ago back in Japan. It was a white NSX-R with the roof scoop thing.
my goal in life is to own an nsx.
fuck getting rich, fuck getting bitches, get nsx.
