The wagovan/shuttle is more capable offroad than your silly, equally boring box of a 2WD Jeep. Yeah, I said it.
Well of cousre a 4WD car will be better off road than a 2WD car. Looks are subjective so no qualm there. But 4WD Jeeps are renown for their off roading ability. But that's going off topic. Any car/engine can be made to go fast with work. I'm just stating facts, my friends 99 Civic outputs I believe 110 or so hp out of a 1.6. So stock, very minimal and yes, a light car helps but I've been in it and I can assure you it's slow. And if I remember correctly, the OP was asking our opinions on Hondas and I shared my opinion so don't let your personal feelings get in the way and get all pissy at me just because I don't care much for their cars. (not at you brad, just in general) Hondas are fine cars, the performance models are quite quick but the majority aren't.
I used to completely hate them to the point where I vowed to never drive one but back then all I knew about Hondas was lawnmower engines and ugly ass 4 door 2000+ civic commuter cars. After about 2 years of viewing the forum my opinion has radically changed to the point where I would love to own something like what Bradley has. Also, best of both worlds:
Now gentlemen. THIS is a honda that i can respect. Also just to be a bro ill find some pics of my aunts 70 something civic, and pics of my moms 80 something civic S (before and after her accident) [editline]10th February 2012[/editline] Also as much as i hate my aunts civic, it would be pretty neato to swap a gudder boosted engine in it, and a manuel tranny. Or somehow lift it and just destroy it in the woods
I don't like Honda's for : 4 Cylinder Non-american
Hey Denim Jacket, their larger models have been made in Ohio since like, 86 or something.
my goal in life is to own an nsx. fuck getting rich, fuck getting bitches, get nsx.
My landlord's brother is like a poster-child for Honda. He's in his like mid-late 20s and we talked a bit. He said he's owned every Honda every except the Ridgeline, which coincidentally, his dad happens to own. He had an NSX a few months ago before he sold it, and now I believe he's just borrowing his dad's truck while he buys his own for something. Mentioned that he only wanted 26k for the NSX I believe. What good is taking high res photos if they look like %&$# at that res? Had to resize them down to 40% to get decent quality. He didn't change anything about the car apart from the rims either. I took a peek inside and it still had the factory casette player. Sounded like a beast taking off though.
Explain to me why you dislike a car because it isn't American. What quality does it or does it not have that only American cars have?
It's a matter of preference. Note that I also do not like Ford by itself, even if they're american. Yet I love BMW, even if they're not american. I grew up with GM and BMW, those remains. Had the best fun in those two brands. Is there any more to say honestly?
Hey Denim Jacket, their larger models have been made in Ohio since like, 86 or something.
Doesn't change anything to me, you won't even see this so called denim jacket with a honda. I don't have much against them other than not liking them personally, so don't go and get butthurt at it. You know, different opinions, preferences and likes. I'm not bashing you guys for like those, but I, see I said I, do not like them. Oh and I'll add, note that it doesn't apply to most of you guys, but here, locally, most of the Honda drivers are pretty fucking douchebags.
N.N.NNONONoono I'm just messing with you, I try to see who I can get a rise out of. But anyways, I they are made in Merica'. Most are atleast.
Either ways, I'm no hater, even though I may sound like one, I just do not like them personally. But I have to agree that when my dad had that recent CR-V, it was okay in off-road.

Oh, and I had a Canadian Si Coupe that I sold a month or so ago. In Canada, the EJ1 was the "Si Coupe" instead of "EX Coupe".
I'm talking about the more common cars, IE Accord. Also, Wolves, I'm actually with you. I'm not really a big fan of Honda. I don't see anything wrong with them, I just don't really like them. They aren't powerful (anymore), they're overpriced for the amount of features you get, and they're cheaply made now.
I too, am reppin' a Canadian Honda.

What good is taking high res photos if they look like %&$# at that res? Had to resize them down to 40% to get decent quality. Went to take a look at the NSX's around here on the used car website... The cheapest is basically 30.000€ with 290HP and 100.000KM from '91, exact same as that (except rims). Most expensive is 72.000 with few less than 50.000KM. WHY AM I NOT RICH?! Either way, HHHHNNNNGGG driving that around school would make me the swagiest of cats ever. If owning a car is already great, then owning that... SWEET ENGINE LORD! However, 26k? Isn't that alot? NVM, stock new right? So yeah, awesome price.

Civics aren't as common as Accords? What the fuck are you smoking. Anyways, yeah, even Accords were built in one of three locations: Japan, America, Canada. Well, after '94, I think they switched from their Canada plant to their Mexico one. Anyone interested in finding out where their car was actually from can easily check the first number of VIN: 1 - US 2 - Canada 3 - Mexico 4 - US for Export (DSMs are the only thing I know that bear this number) J - Japan K - Korea S - England W - Germany Z - Italy Those are the only ones I know off hand. I'm far too lazy to look up others.
It all depends on the area. I see a lot more Civics than I do accords around here. Then again, all those kinds of cars just blend together so who knows
There's a red first-gen NSX that I occassionally see parked at the Japanese Steakhouse near me.
I've seen 2, one was one that my fathers sorta friend/asshole douche owned that he was selling for $44,000, and a silver one at the local university while waiting for the bus.
FWD is my only turnoff. I've seen the crazy amounts of power Honda motors can make NA, and it's nothing to scoff at.
The Civics you mentioned. I've literally only saw three CRX's in my life.
I pretty much mentioned Civics from 1988-1995. They're hella common. Just because I have hatchbacks and not coupes or sedans doesn't mean they were made in different places. :P
These are the ones that are common to me
FWD is my only turnoff. I've seen the crazy amounts of power Honda motors can make NA, and it's nothing to scoff at.
Hondas aren't fun to drive if they're overpowered. The fun thing about a Honda is that it feels more like a gokart than a dragster. My first time ever on a track, but I had a blast. I'm going to that track again in april, and I wanna set some really fast lap times.
I have no problems with these Hondas:
I love how its fine to hate all American manufacturers but the second you dislike a foreign company everyone starts QQing about it.
I love how its fine to hate all American manufacturers but the second you dislike a foreign company everyone starts QQing about it.
Everyone starts QQing about everything here. "I like camber" oh wtf you like broken cars "I dislike camber" omg camber is so cool why u insult it "i like american cars" omg cant take a turn lolol "i like imports" olol you ricer "i like the dacia sandero" you've made a fine choice mate

I wish modern 250cc bikes were v4s :(
I wish modern 250cc bikes were v4s :(
I'm pretty sure the CBR250RR was an I4. The new one is a single.
Might be getting an Accord, guy was getting it track ready but something came up in his life so he had to sell it before he could autocross it. It's a sick car that can really haul, has been re-upholstered and has a JDM H22A in it, along with a ton of new parts. To be sure, brought my friend who knows alot about cars and his opinion was "Yeah, I would buy it if I were you." Hopefully my truck will sell. It'll be my first Honda. :3
I don't like Honda cars because they just....ugh. Their older scooters however are tanks. I own an Aero 80 and my friend owned TWO Elites.
I'd like a Hatch as a commuter. Might be fun.
Pretty tasteful actually. Reminds me of the Renault 5 Turbo
Odd. Rear engine? Otherwise I see no reason for the vents in the rear (Unless they are foor brake cooling? If it even has a rear disc brake swap). It does remarkably resemble the 5 Turbo.
