To be honest, it'd be a shame, but cool as hell to have robotic limbs.
Well, once they become better than our normal limbs, I'd go for it

MY BODY IS AUGMENTED.
How original
Now combine it with this and the possibilities are endless

Feeling your hands trough your chest?
Now you're thinking with portals.
I'm calling it now: In the future, there will be a rise in incidences where young men whose have had their arms replaced accidental ripping their dicks off.
The year is 2011, it is a time of great innovation.
Man that's awesome. Can't wait until we can really replace damaged limbs with similar equipment, like Will Smith's arm in I Robot. This is exactly the kind of stuff I hope they never cut funding for, the applications and benefit to the world are endless.
Making the arm feel and sense stuff is probably the last of their concerns, because when you are actually in a position to need this thing, you really aren't going to care if it can feel or not. It's either this or no arm. I'd rather them start on legs before they move to the senses.
I feel like serving a year in the Iraq or someplace and getting my left hand blown the fuck off.
Then spend my fight money to have the DARPA scientists build me one of those.

So you spent a few minutes thinking this up and not once thought "wow, how retarded must one be for an idea like this?".
But can it crush people's windpipes?

Will it blend? that is the question.
The year is 2011, it is a time of great innovation.
And technological advancement.
But this is cool. I think though that growing real human limbs and then properly transplant them could be more effective.

"wow, how retarded must one be to think someone's serious about randomly getting hand blown off while serving in iraq and getting a cutting-edge prosthetic"
but fuck it..
When they become better than organic limbs, and have no serious drawbacks, I'll get one
I just realised
the possibilities in nerve rewiring are endless!
i mean, i could rewire my penis nerves to my fingertips and orgasm while typing, think about it :v:

fuck
you got me
I imagine amputees will at some point have their whole stump replaced with a uniform socket that newer models of arm could be simply plugged into, rock 'em sock 'em robots style.
brb quadruple amputee
Anyway, cool mechanical arm
The thought of having bionic arms are awesome but still.....its my arm
