I feel like everyone who's against circumcision makes the problem of a tight cut, or loss of sensitivity, or whatever other myriad of issues are attributed to it so exaggerated that it's beyond what the normal person goes through. Almost everyone I know is circumcised. Not once amongst all those people have I heard an actual complaint about it in those terms.
The point about the age difference is that there's no way a baby suffers trauma from it. A person at a later age will remember that and it's not even remotely comparable to if it happens as a baby

seano was saying it traumatizes babies. I said it doesn't, because I was circumcised when I was a baby and I have no lasting mental or physical issues due to it. No lasting shock. None of that. So no, circumcising a baby does not traumatize it. It will hurt, but will the baby be traumatized? No.
