The plot is cribbed straight from Dances With Wolves and the sci-fi side doesn't have any particularly novel ideas, unless I'm forgetting something.

The only thing any kind of inventive about Avatar was its visuals, the story was just meh.

The fuck are movies like Toy Story 2 and Shaun of the Dead doing on that list?
Shaun of the dead was a great film, don't get me wrong, but not really "top 250 movies ever" kind of great.
And Toy Story 2 was just plain awful in my opinion.
I think Toy Story didn't need a sequel.
And I think Toy Story doesn't need two sequels.
I also think it's pretty fucked up how they gave Buzz Lightyear his own show.
I got 57. Got a bunch lined up which I'll see, but I don't watch that much movies.

What made Shaun of the Dead great was the fact it cost almost next to nothing to create compared with some hollywood movie budgets and it came out as hilarious with some great British comedy Actors.

Yeah I fully agree. But I'm just hoping that there's someone else out there that can agree with the fact that it doesn't really belong in the top 250 movies ever list.
Also, I've seen 65 movies from that list. :)

I thought it was awesome. Pretty much all Pixar movies are.
seen about 52 of those movies.
I don't like the list. Many of the movies are good, but definitely not top 250 worth. Slumdog was a great movie, but not something that should have outclassed others on that list.
Still, as a place to check up on I think it is worth it when you need a movie to watch. I've seen about 70-80 of them now.
Wow, I was suspecting a list with retarded movies but this seems to know what goes where.
I've personally have seen about 35-40
Last time i did this i was just over 110 films. It's continuing to climb.
