Dummy Submachine Gun.
A fully functional submachine made by a prisoner back in 1994 in Wolfenbüttel prison, Germany. It was made from a grease injector, wood, a rubber sleeve, and tape.
It always baffles me how creative prisoners can get.
wow....this here ladies and gentlemen is a weapon made from complete boredom!
I don't know if you guys would consider it remarkable but the LeMat revolver is pretty awesome. For those of you that don't know it has a 16 gauge smooth bore barrel under the primary barrel.

Or rather than using other materials for improv, why not use from the earth itself?

The metalless, undetected, guaranteed-to-stay-sharp Sapphire blade.
Sapphire! This shit will literally cut through metal, hell, it uses metal to stay sharp.
It's not so much the fact that the handle on this knife is made from bone that has me worried… no, it's the artificial-sapphire blade that sets off the alarms. Or rather, it doesn't — since the knife has no metal in its construction, it won't set off any metal detectors, should an owner, say, try to bring it aboard a plane. The only substance harder than the scratchproof blade is diamond, so the knife needs a special diamond whitestone for sharpening. That might be a skippable accessory, though, since it seems likely that such a blade wouldn't need to be sharpened that often, unless the owner happens to be a really prolific terrorist… er, knife user.
There's no data on price or availability (thankfully), but you baggage screeners at the TSA better be advised. — Peter Pachal
LeMat has nothing to do with France, actually. I just can't remember the name's backstory. Also, LeMat could hold 9 bullets instead of 6.

The barrel goes through the head of the mace. Then you bash people over the head if they survive being shot.

How can airsofters get nightmares about tacticool guns? A lot of the abominations excist because of airsofters.
Some things just get taken too far. Though considering the gun is as common as fried chicken I wouldn't mind doing something cruel to one either.

I found a good pic about that shotgun revolver, you realize the size better imo.

If i'd have a lot of money to spend on nothing, i'd actually make a minigun made out of minigun.
That'd be awesome
I just made the math, it would be able to shoot up to 54,000 rounds a minute.

I've seen that. In a movie, at least.
The completely preposterous, ludicrous, "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children". One character has a hand that can transform into a minigun, with three smaller miniguns that spin around it. I can't find a good pic or video - this is the best I can find.
My advice - if you decide to watch the movie, fast-forward through anything that looks like "plot", and don't try to think about it too hard. Just enjoy the over-the-top fight scenes and the bitching soundtrack.
Let's not forget the old reliable slam-bang AKA 4 winds.
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/4winds.JPG[/img_thumb]
One pipe just big enough for a 12-gauge shell (or 16 or 20 or other gauges), one pipe just big enough for the smaller pipe to slide in, a pipe cap for one end of the bigger pipe and a nail drilled through the exact center of that cap. Whole things costs ~7$ to make.
To fire place a shell in the small pipe. Put the bigger pipe around the end with the shotgun shell. Move the two together rapidly, the nail should puncture the primer, BOOM, if you still have hands pick out the spend shell, place another one in, rinse, repeat.
Used to be a preferred weapon of choice when guerrillas had to whack people. It's smoothbore with shot so there is no forensic trace that you can leave. If you get caught carrying it it just looks like 2 lengths of pipe, keep it in a toolbox and no one can suspect anything. Once the weapon is used you can take it down to 4 parts (big pipe, small pipe, cap and spent shell) and dispose of the parts in random locations (hence the name 4 winds).
One version was even sold as a regular firearm in the US at one point.

To paraphrase from TFR (the only good gun forum on the internet),
It's a bolt-action flashbang. You walk into a room, fire a few rounds, and everything within fifteen feet of the muzzle is curled up in the fetal position and bleeding from the ears.
Fuck people who butcher milsurp though.

From what I understand a Sten gun isn't too hard to make. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think resistance fighters in WWII would make them.

Yep. The Sten was so simple to make, the Norwegian, Danish and Polish resistances were able to manufacture them. In fact, near the end of the war, the Germans themselves began producing a variant, the MP 3008, to equip the Volkssturm forces, as it was cheaper than the MP40.
