Since I haven't listened to the newest album, Spirit is my favourite so far.

I've always though Folk Metal sounded oxymoronic.
What's that mean?
Folk and Metal are like the exact opposites of each other. It's just a little weird to hear big guitar riffs and flutes in the same song.(for me anyway)
Musical genres can't really be oxymoronic. You can pretty much fuse any 2 genres together.
Instrumental Rap doesn't make much sense.

I personally thought Ven was horrible, get Spirit or Slania imo.

I can hook you up with the new cd, send me your email in a PM.
You can say it's a oxymoron also because some people consider folk to be country music instead of the pagan/flute playing "stuff" (can't really describe it well) :zoid: .
(I consider folk separate from country)

(whatever I think I should go)
Spirit and Ven kick major ass. Uis Elveti and Your Gaulish war is real folk-metal, Although Slania was partially good it felt like Melodeath with a flute. The new album is a bit boring but still ok.

It's ok, I'm going to go buy it soon, I figure it's best to support the band by buying the albums. They still have to do day jobs to be able to go on tours and stuff.
