For a bow only run sure.
Otherwise that's just yet another top tier rusty opinion.
For unlocked playing being able to exactly aim instead of forwards or diagonal where you want to is a big advantage. If you have ever fought a top tier rapier user that plays unlocked to have manual tracking then you know what I'm talking about.
with a mouse i can actually spin my aim during a long wind up attack and land the hit in the opposite direction it started. joystick is far too slow and the hit always lags behind a bit.
so during pvp if someone rolls behind me while i start a massive hit in front, i can just quickly spin the mouse all the way around and actually land the hit where he rolled to behind me. it's not 1:1 obviously but the hit definitely does change direction faster with mouse.
other than that, i'm just used to a keyboard and it works so much better for me. I feel gimped playing ds1 with a controller and even in bloodborne i feel super limited compared to ds2 on pc.

here's an example but not done as fast as you can do it:

This is why I'm so excited to try this game with the Steam Controller. It's basically the best of both worlds in this type of a game. Quick flicks with the touchpad while having the analog movement of a controller.

Suppose that is handy for pvp with UG weapons but that doesn't seem that useful for smaller weapons. And UG weapons are shite for high skill pvp anyway due to backsteps having I frames.
Doesn't keyboard and mouse need some work arounds with auto hoy key or some bullshit like that so you can attack at normal speeds? Definitely wouldn't call something undeniably better if it requires work arounds to work properly.
Well if you ever need a stronk opponent feel free to contact me. (after I relevel my characters because I recently accidentally deleted my entire save file with only an ancient backup available)
