Yes, because heavy metal obviously goes very well with gym.

this song goes painfully well with my workouts, except I sometimes sing along to the 'god hates us all' part
I'm getting more and more into the cliché of a metalhead as I try to expand into different genres for some reason. Maybe it's because I dislike listening to pop and maybe sometime's I'm a bit too vocal about it.

That's strange it is the opposite for me, the more I involve myself into different genres/sub-genres the less I stay attached to metal.
Same, and I'm glad. listening to one genre is lame.

No, other people think of me as more of a metal head.
listening to one genre is lame.
Not necessarily. I think if I were to listen to jazz only for the rest of my life, it wouldn't be lame. Trust me. :smug:
Even though metal is my favorite genre, its definitely not the only one I listen to :frogc00l:
Not necessarily. I think if I were to listen to jazz only for the rest of my life, it wouldn't be lame. Trust me. :smug:
No it still would be.
Says the guy who's always going on about being open minded? :v:
No it still would be.
I have an uncle with over 2000+ Jazz LPs, trust me it ain't lame because it is quite a diverse genre.

He always wants to be the underdog in the argument.

Eh it's the same thing as listening to only metal. It's a very very diverse genre but listening to nothing but metal is pretty lame and closeminded.

Metal is also incredibly diverse. But jazz has a positive public opinion compared to metal
One is still as lame as the other, just people don't feel the same about jazz

Depends on the reason to why you listen to it, if you listen to it because it is the only genre you don't hate then you are close minded or just picky but if it is the genre you enjoy the most but don't have the urge but still enjoy to listen to something else I don't mind.
Also I never said that my uncle only listens to Jazz but just that he has a shitload of LPs which I dont find boring.
Says the guy who's always going on about being open minded? :v:
Open Mindedness has nothing to do with it, Jazz is quite possibly the most complex genre that ever exists.
I have only touched the surface of it, but I know how it can deliver.

Also has nothing to do with what I said. :smug:

I don't listen to music because of what you think.
I don't listen to music because of what you think.
Yes you do, admit it already.
Sorry for starting the mini shitstorm. But what I meant was it would be cool for me to listen to nothing but jazz. :smug:
It is the most thought provoking genre for me.

Have you listened to the early Shining albums? I have just recently and it's so good.

Crabcore is the purest genre to me, it's complexity that is reflected in the breakdown just goes beyond imagination and sends you to the highest peaks of your divine thoughts.
What? Anything specific?
brokeNCYDE and Hollywood Undead master race.

[editline]10th March 2011[/editline]

Yeah how can rap be bad if it gave birth to Hollywood Undead and BrokeNCYDE? You sir, are lacking in class and very uneducated. I pity you.
Neoclassical fusion jazz.
