(I'm wearing a Napalm Death hoodie) Some random guy: Ohhh you listen to screamo?
in his defense, the name kind of implies something of the sort. you can't just assume they know the band, i know i didn't.
(I'm wearing a Napalm Death hoodie) Some random guy: Ohhh you listen to screamo?
Napalm Death aren't exactly well-known. I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking they were a screamo band if they'd never heard of them (however I would blame them for making assumptions).
in his defense, the name kind of implies something of the sort. you can't just assume they know the band, i know i didn't.
if i didn't listen to much metal i would think napalm death was screamo, too
So you treat religion the same way you treat music.
"I believed in christianity before it was mainstream" "Hinduism has a lot of great gods, christianity is just a one hit wonder" "I'm into this obscure cult, you've probably never heard of it..."
"I believed in christianity before it was mainstream" "Hinduism has a lot of great gods, christianity is just a one hit wonder" "I'm into this obscure cult, you've probably never heard of it..."
No that's just hipster crap
Wonder what they would think about the album "Clayman" by In Flames [img_thumb]http://thebadpennyblog.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/in-flames-clayman.jpg[/img_thumb]
She didn't pay attention to this one, sadly. And yes, she is very, very annoying.
From the "Post-viewing help sheet" in the DVD version of Paranormal Activity:
Put some music on. Suggestions for a suitable post-film soundtrack: 70s disco, frivolous 90s pop music. Avoid Norweigan black metal and Mahler symphonies.
I have a live recording of some Godspeed You! Black Emperor song.. At the end of it, you can hear one person in the crowd shout: "Play some Pantera!" It makes me cringe every time.
From the "Post-viewing help sheet" in the DVD version of Paranormal Activity:
I never avoid Mahler symphonies under any circumstances :colbert: Mahler lover for life.
She didn't pay attention to this one, sadly. And yes, she is very, very annoying.
Show it to her. Do it.
"I believed in christianity before it was mainstream" "Hinduism has a lot of great gods, christianity is just a one hit wonder" "I'm into this obscure cult, you've probably never heard of it..."
800 million hindus says otherwise. :raise:
800 million hindus says otherwise. :raise:
Shit must be good, a few billion flies can't be wrong.
buddhism must be 2deep4u
Buddhism and Hinduism work hand in hand. Great religions. :smug: They don't completely disregard science like most do.
my stepdad's a buddhist It can be annoying when in a discussion he pulls buddhist shit on you like THERE IS NO WHY and WHAT REALLY IS YOU and shit like that :v: He just does it to annoy me though.
Ed Edge, the triangle player in HORSE, was a buddhist and a vegan, didn't take medicine or sleep on matresses, but then he "got saved by Jesus" when he told them they went "WHAAAAT" and I laughed so much why do I talk about HORSE the band all the time

Never met a Buddhist, though I find it interesting.
John Cage was a Zen Buddhist :unsmith:
Never met a Buddhist, though I find it interesting.
I need to learn more about how your avatar turned to Hinduism. I'm intrigued.
My best mate is Buddhist too and he is also a proper awesome dude.
I need to learn more about how your avatar turned to Hinduism. I'm intrigued.
Yeah George doesn't seem like he would turn Hindu. What a twist!
"Suff-Jan" rather than "Soof-Yan" Stevens
Yeah George doesn't seem like he would turn Hindu. What a twist!
I don't think so, I think the interests that he had were a lot different compared to others in the band. For example, if you read up about them all going to India, none of them were really that interested except for Harrison.
