Oooh I heard a good worst thing about half an hour ago, this guy on my facebook who I know from school, is a metalhead/nerdy kid who loves thrash. He was getting all excited about a metallica concert, but then found out it was a Big four concert, and was disappointed. They were great songwriters and had a big impact on music, but I really did not like their SOUND at all. Too...soft, bland, I'm not really sure what word I'm looking for but it doesn't really appeal to me. I loved the versions of their songs in Across the Universe, felt a whole lot more lively to me. Probably the extra electric/distorted guitar in it, as opposed to the original versions. However, hating them for being "too mainstream" - I hope whoever really has that feeling about ANY band becomes too hip to BREATHE. And calling anything gay "compared to Disturbed" is truly fucking laughable. Take one of them to see Wintersun, or Ensiferum, or Amon Amarth...and watch them cringe and cry when the pits open up.

Disturbed are... Alright. But they're gay as hell and SO SO BLAND. They get boring after ~30 seconds. Their sound is really flat and weak, it's mixed so softly and it sounds boring as fuck.
