Apparently what he did to Swift was the worst possibly concieved thing anyone could do to a person. However, when Roger Waters forces Rick Wright out of the band by bullying.. Noone wants to care. :smith:
lol what tool said that
people should understand that what he did to swift wasn't a personal move against swift, it was more a protest against the music institution

At the time when Late Registration was released, everyone adored him. This is clearly a case of foolishness.
people should understand that what he did to swift wasn't a personal move against swift, it was more a protest against the music institution
Either way, Swift has forgiven him for it, and I really don't know of that many other douche things he's done, but from what I've read I got a (possibly) wrong impression that he had done a lot than just the whole MTV thing. Please tell me the facts though, I'm always interested in learning.

heh, according to the wiki Obama called West "a jackass" in an off record comment.
Reading that he seems more like an egocentric arrogant guy, rather than a douche. love the art, not the artist.
love the art, not the artist.
Better if you can love both IMO, but it's definitely not a requirement, which is why I would also listen to music by Kanye, if I liked his music.
I automerged, so I posted it before you. :ninja:
thing is i put it in my post a minute before you posted, but decided to remove it and place it in a seperate post.
Better if you can love both IMO, but it's definitely not a requirement, which is why I would also listen to music by Kanye, if I liked his music.
It's worth liking it. He does deserve recognition, I reckon some of his early work will end up being classics.
It's not really a bad thing I've heard, it's more the lack of attention I feel some bands are getting. The average laymen will never heard the beauty of anthropocentrics title track, or "Fish Eye" by Shining, or Beacons closing track "Amy I Love You" on Cloudkickers Beacons. :arghfist::frown: Fuck you in your cold mechanical heart music industry.
Blackjazz is fucking amazing So crazy but so awesome

The brothers in Oasis doesn't seem to have grown past childhood sibling rivalry and throw poo at each other. The Who trashes hotel rooms and doesn't pay for the damage. Eric Clapton does an entire show lying down with the microphone next to him. Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick torture their actors. That's not music but whatever. Anyway my point is Kanye West shouldn't be held as the most douchy of all musicians when other guys who are more respected in the music world are just as douchy as he is. It's just that the media just focuses on him for for whatever douchy reason.

Van gogh cut his own fucking ear off, Ted hughes managed to make both of his wives commit suicide, artists of all mediums tend to be a different way to most. It's what worries me, I don't want people to think of me as a cunt.

It's more celebrities in general I guess the fame just gets to them Or in some cases they're just always cunts
Kanye isn't a cunt. He's just your standard asshole. :smugdog: Liam Gallagher? Now that's a cunt.

Loads of artists whine in public.
Blackjazz is fucking amazing So crazy but so awesome
Grindstone is just as awesome, if not more. :colbert:
I'm not talking about the VMA's in 2009 I'm talking about at the MTV awards in 2007 where he went onto the stage and argued because the song "We Are Your Friend" by Justice won over his song "Touch The Sky".
yay for norwegian jazz artists :h: [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] dammit drax
