Yeah and I guess I'm lying to an extent considering I've used it myself once and still have some sample packs ripped from tape but you know what I mean.
It's not like you recorded that shit onto an 8-track and even if you did it has too much fuzz for me to ever stomach past one listen, and you only really get away with it because it's ambient.
nope i actually use one of those tascam recorders
it gives it a unique quality
sometimes i'll take out the tape from the socket and crinkle it a bit so the track will pop and go out of tune
