My apologies if my post came across as troll-like, that was not my intention. I guess I should have explained myself from the start. I hate Metallica. Not because I feel the music can be souless and overplayed, honestly some of their music I do like. However the band has been ruined for me. My friend is the world's largest fanboy and constantly has Metallica playing. So what if he likes a band, why should I care? Because he makes it his life's mission to make other people like it. Anytime I am hanging out with him he watches videos of our highschool talent show where he drummed for the song "One." It has been five years since our graduation and he still shows off his little video and spends his life talking about the good times. His devotion is plain creepy and most likely unhealthy. That is why I hate Metallica.
