So Dvc told me about Sbarg and was like dude do this right now and linked me to the google docs page, I was like ok fine lets do this.
I watch the flash and when it suddenly says "Grab two items" with the countdown I'm rapidly clicking on the screen wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do.
So, I promptly yell "DUDE WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO OH GOD"
As the countdown gets to 10 he says I need to grab two things In my room so I grab the two objects right in front of my face.

Reading the comments on that CNN article was painful.
I also find it strange that there are former MSPA and former Homestuck fans who do not like how many characters there are because it is "harder to have an emotional connection with them".
I never found it hard to appreciate all the characters before? Is this a common complaint?

That's a really well written article, I didn't think people in traditional media could write something about an internet phenomenon without fucking it up.

Rose is great because of the sheer range of states of emotion we've witnessed.
We've seen her snarky and aloof, but at the same time making and laughing at silly jokes with her friends about silly costumes and mustaches and stairs. Seen her annoyed at shenanigans and frustrated with her mother. Seen her dodge a fucking burning tree and revel in that fact, and leap over a waterfall while flaming cyclones surrounded her as an act of faith. Seen her taken under a questionable influence from hopeless circumstances as she gets increasingly fed-up with the facts she's presented with as she tears it apart both to find out [i]why[/i] but also out of rebellious spite. Even at that point having joking conversations with her friends.
Seen her taken under an even more questionable influence and essentially blinkered by what appear to be the subvertive truths she's after but in the same breath finding out she's been played a fool and that her mother is dead because she failed. At that low point seen her given power and setting out desperate to avenge her mother and make up for her failure to See.
Seen her fail again despite her new power to save one of her closest friends. How, when faced with having failed as a Seer, having failed as a wizard, and having so much hurt, we see her [i]literally[/i] explode with rage as she tries yet again to make things right, and failing again.
And that's just up to the first time she died.
10/10 character would read her books.

The person who wrote the article also wrote two articles on the Daily Dot (a texan newspaper), the first being about the music, and the second about cosplayers at otakon.
The person was directly in touch with Clark Powell, who probably helped shape her opinion of HS into a good form, instead of exposing her to the bad part fandom (read: most of the fandom)
