I heard someone else mention the person who voiced Azula and Mandy would be a good fit for Vriska a while before she caught wind of it.

DeLisle is kind of an obnoxious person.
I don't know if I want her to be the subject of the "famous person reads Homestuck" news for the next few weeks.
Dante was all subdued and stuff about it and read it at his own pace.
Grey's just kinda fangirl squeeing it seems like it just won't end well, not to mention she has yet to post anything to the contrary that she didn't just skip to act 5 and do some Vriska voice acting.

Hey, if we get more people from avatar (or other professional voice actors) to want to voice characters maybe we can persuade hussie to pitch an animated adaptation. Huh? Huh? (Do it hussie, do it, you know you want to)
I for one embrace our embarrassingly poor quality microphone having fangirl squealing overlords.
Honestly though, at this point whatever gets new people reading. A lot of people start reading because of the trolls, and that's fine with me, because eventually they will go back to the beginning and at least give it a shot, and if they don't like it oh well, and if they do there's another fan. Even if they just like the trolls (or the attention it brings them) what's the harm? They create content and maybe they'll bring in other people who aren't as blatantly pandering into the fandom who will genuinely obsess over it. At least we get exposure.

Voice acting as a career is usually a passion job, and usually people have mics to do off hand recording or practice. I'm not like, looking down my nose at her or anything, just making an observation.

She used that voice to play a 12 year old in The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy so I don't really see the problem. Voice acting is weird.
