Does anyone have a link to the download for Karkat's new theme? I can't search thanks to being blue, and I don't want to have to search through the last hundred pages if somebody has it on hand.

If I was a hobo and saw a bunch of weird alien kids show up I would know that the drugs are kicking in.
*not sure whether this is late or what* I was just wondering about something... What determines what a player's planet will be like? It occurred to me that this is practically the only way at the moment I can explain the billiard theme of Lord English. Imagine that Lord English has a planet related to casinos, gambling or hell just Vegas. If he uses something from his planet to make himself into this weird thing, like for example if he prototyped himself and another item from the planet, then that explains why he has the billiard/neon lights theme. It also could explain his Cairo overcoat. Dave has his time tables which refers the Beat Mesa in LOHAC, while Aradia has hers in the theme of Quartz and Melody. It would make sense if Lord English had this as his Beat Mesa: *shrug*
one of the kids (Dirk??) has LOPAN as their land P as in Pyramids probably, N as in Neon (another noble gas) the coat is probably something of his alchemized with gamzee's modus
My favorite act is Act 3 because of the way we discover: 1. Jade is completely different from how she was presented in Acts 1 and 2 2. The concept of dream selves and Prospit 3. Bec and how old he is etc 4. a bunch of other things i forgot about But I do not miss it: the story has to evolve and continue however it may. It is inevitable that we would reach a moment in which we know almost everything there is to know, and one day, there will be nothing new left to discover.
personally speaking, my favorite is act 3 because 1. i completely lost track of what the fuck is happening [editline]7th October 2012[/editline]
Also, now that you're posting here, you have the option to obsess over the Protomen.
if I may ask, what's the link between the protomen and mspa

Homestuck is one of those things you need to read in short bursts, otherwise your brain effectively in-digests it entirely. You'll understand it on your 3rd read through.
There isn't one, we just really like the Protomen
If you play Protomen backwards at x5 times speed, you actually hear a full transcript of Homestuck.
... THREE TIMES?
don't listen to sirdownloadsalot, he smells it's perfectly easy to understand it if you just sort of accept that if you don't immediately understand it, it'll be explained later. That turns off a lot of people but that's just what you've got to accept. Just read through it like you would anything else, and anything you don't understand look it up. Get a bro that's already read it to help you along if need be. Preferably someone from this thread, because we've got decent heads on our shoulders. Oh also there is literally no connection between Protomen and Homestuck, it's just that everyone in the thread likes them. here is my official story guide on Homestuck and what you need to be patient with: Act 1: Story is mostly jokes about how inconvenient computers were in the 80s. If you get the joke, it's hilarious. If you don't, it's just needlessly confusing guff. If you don't understand what's going on with all the confusing gizmos, that's fine because the joke is that you aren't supposed to understand the confusing gizmos. Act 2: The story itself starts to pick up, elements of the plot are introduced. Technology jokes still prevalent. Typically the end of this act is considered to be the "love it or hate it" point of the story. Act 3: The kids are thrust in to the "game" they're playing, with a bunch of elements introduced with little explanation. Just accept these as they come and consider them to be a mystery to be explained. It does get explained later, just be patient. The Intermission: This part is fucking awesome. The main plot takes a backseat to an alternate story set in another time and place in the universe. This is a gigantic shout-out to the author's previous work "Problem Sleuth." If you don't like this part, I hate you. The rest of the story is fairly straightforward. Most of the mysteries are explained at this point and it's pure storytelling from here on.

Skipping the intermission is a bad idea, as it sets up a decent amount of the plot and characters for later in Homestuck.
