i dont really hate nepeta but as far as characters went she was kind of eh
like she's literally the only character in this whole comic I could see not being there and nothing changing for better or for worse

It is true she was not useful in terms of the plot or any part of the story, but I still enjoyed the parts of the story with her in it.
I liked Nepeta. She wasn't useful and contributed nothing to the plot overall, but she made me smile because she was so darn goofy and cute.

I laughed when Meulin and Kurloz were exchanging tumblr gifs using handsigns, but that's about it. To be honest, I find them annoying with their e-meow-ticions and cat puns.

No. I actually think it's kind of lazy at this point. Like not to really hate on him as he does so much else art wise but we've seen that exact flying pose several several times at this point, and a large number of times it's away from the same sphere shape in the background

At this point it's become a reference, a recurring image. It's not an impressive feat of animation sure, but it's a callback.
Also the psyche was for the end of act curtains

callbacks lose their effectiveness when they're 'called-back' on so often
and i wouldn't really call it a callback at this stage, more of a recurring art asset

I guess he does use it quite often but I don't really care because it's badass and well used, in that he doesnt really just throw it in everywhere he can but when he uses it it fits and is cool and stuff

That is a fantastic idea. I might get in on that. How would you do it anyway? Have everyone record it and just kinda mash it together or do a live thing?
