then hours later they'd say "hey, there's no trolls in act 1"

because up until then she was a ghost. she said she'd lost a lot of interest in things that were once interesting to her. her pre-hivebent self seemed to be a lot like her godtier self was up until vriska murdered her.
also, the loss of her h0ll0w speech quirk means she probably lost the ever present voices of the dead she was always burdened with pre god tier. that probably helped boost her mood a ton. it did for sollux.
