I just realized that John's hit with the Vrillyhoo did pretty much the same amount of damage to Jack as when Vriska parried with him in her ultimate form thingy. Vrillyhoo must be super overpowered when it gets all 8s.

Vriska’s right, he really SHOULD know everything about her now! They did share a body after all. So um….yeah. I think it’s actually Hussie pretending to Tavros. As a side note, (assuming I am right, and I’m not totally off!*) I find Hussie’s use of misdirection really fascinating and cool. He KNEW we would get all caught up in shippy stuff with this update, and forget about little things like these. And he’s using that to his advantage. Like wow. He’s a really great storyteller. *I recognize that this is potentially really dumb **also, sometimes I wonder if when hussie sees that someone has figured out his next plot twist, he just changes it to something else. I think they are just reading too far into the reused art assets. Its not even a new thing, remaking old scenes/poses with different characters is just Hussies thing.
