I kinda like Dirk as a reverse Dave, how Dave was super cool but never actually did anything for himself and then eventually got used to being badass on his own, I wanna see Dirk start off as the faceless sunglasses super-nuts-awesome cool guy and then for something to happen to just make him in to a ridiculous spaghetti monster klutz.
I mean he's gotta be faceless glasses cool person for a little bit because he's Bro and being exactly that was Bro's whole schtick, but he's gotta also screw up because he's actually a character now.

Dirk is legitimately a badass from the start, having based his personality on his long-gone brother. When he meets our Dave, he'll probably become a doofus poser trying to emulate Dave's schtick, which was entirely based off of Bro's schtick. It's a really Hussie thing to do.

Crablouse's understanding of the characters makes me want to scream it's so bad.
Honestly though, I'm not fond of Dirk, his marysueish nature has been kinda omnipresent from the start, and while I know it's intentional it's just really annoying to see him never not be perfect and completely outshine the other Alpha kids. Also I kinda think he types with the personality of a cardboard box filled with white paste. Flaws are one of the things that make or break a character for me and Dirk has none so yeah, I don't like him.
I mean I don't HATE him, not like I dislike Tavros or... well Tavros. I guess I can like all the other characters as characters except for Tavros. Worst troll.

Eh, calling someone "the worst person in the fandom" of any fandom is pretty bad. I wouldn't say she's that bad, but if I were to provide examples to the contrary I would get banned or would have to look at pictures that would make me want to rip my eyeballs out long enough to edit them so they were sfw. Her ego tends to inflate to gargantuan proportions on occasion though, but from what I've read she's at least generally friendly when she's not on a crusade or riled up.
Her characterization is still some of the worst in the fandom, but you can't blame people for having an opinion, even if it's completely wrong.
I said worst who became popular, name a worse member of the fandom who's well known.

When criticism is drowned out by praise, it makes taking criticism seriously harder for the artist. TBH any artisan of any proficiency that doesn't like constructive criticism isn't a true artist at all.
