noble gasses are inert. they could suffocate but it won't poison them at all
because for the most part it detracts from the quality
its like the one thing about the comic that needs work
like every now and again it creates some interesting character dynamics but for the most part it just feels like OH WOW HUSSIE'S PLAYING UP SHIPS OR DESTROYING SHIPS TO FUCK WITH THE FANBASE COOLIO CAN WE GET BACK TO THE PLOT
maybe that's just the fans' uproarious reaction to anything even remotely resembling ship evidence that's clouding my view of it but it seriously blows 90% of the time

a lot of the time it doesn't even feel like it's working towards legitimate character development its just like "john said something about marrying rose once ok fine let's not ever revisit that and it might as well have not been said"

I will say that the relationship dynamics between the alpha kids seems a little more fleshed out than between the original 4, and it seems to play a large part in the shit they do, but otherwise my point still stands
