I don't expect he'll put his other projects on hiatus for it; most likely, he'll oversee the whole thing but will continue working on whatever he's working on at that time (didn't he say his next major project was a completely separate concept from homestuck?)
If there's character customization, I'll def be i300

Homestuck is ending in 2013. Development starts soon after it's over. He says the game is planned for release in 2014. I'm sure Hussie would want to be involved with it at a core level. It is his creation, after all.
