There's a bigger parallel between Dave's future selves helping him out and Dirk's splintered personalities than that, they both are unable to do anything without being helped by themselves which makes them end up feeling useless or weak.

It's the best way to have a character remain physically capable and a rad fighter, just make him psychologically conflicted

Except the other Daves literally are Dave, they are physically the same person, so he doesn't feel weak because he's genuinely helping himself rather than being helped by another iteration of himself.

Possible outcomes:
1: Equius' personality overpowers the AR completely because fuck he's strong and he just stays as Equiusprite but keeps the glasses.
2: Equius' brawn combines with the AR's brains to create an unstoppable harbinger of milk.
3: Equius' attitude is altered by AR in such a way that the first thing he does he beat the tits off of Gamzee.

Rose, Dirk and Hal are the only ones with proper punctuation and spelling like Scratch, and the latter two share closer ties to SBaHJ (which Scratch made jokes about). If Scratch really is a program or has some code in him that makes him the way he is, he could very much have something to do with Hal
