I just realized, a Homestuck game blew through its budget in a few days, and is still getting cash. After this game, imagine if Hussie tried getting a movie made, he knows that this would get just as much support as the game (If not loads more.), and everyone's wanted a good one.
It'd have to be a multi-season TV show. Movie wouldn't be long enough.

Either that, or multiple movies, but it'd be interesting to see how they things like casting, and to see things in more detail than they were in the comic (Eridan and Sollux's duel, the battle with the Black King, things like that.)

I've helped with Dutch and French fan translations on the forums.
Fun fact: Dutch actually is very similar to English and not all too much is lost in translation, and it is very, very easy to make up new stuff in French if need to be.
I'm just not sure how well the character typing quirks and such would translate into different languages.

Most of them are punctuation (which carries over perfectly) or puns (and those are not exclusive to the English language)

Interestingly, the most issues we've had are with Dave of all people. His whole semi-ironic ramblings like the shit doing a pirouette of the fucking handle and stuff is way harder to translate and stay in character for him. We ended up scrapping the entire thing and using Dutch expressions instead.
