I love how a lot of people are buying a game that's probably not going to cost $40 for hundreds of dollars because they want "free shit" that isn't gonna be worth even half of that when it arrives on the What Pumpkin store

I pledged a bunch of money for the swag but mostly for the game. I obviously get the point that all the merchandise is overpriced because it is to fund the game. That's how it works.

$40 game, $5-10 soundtrack, $20-40 print, $20 shirt, <$15 pins, I dunno how to value sticker sheets, $10-20 tote bag.
For a pledge of $105 that's not bad at all.

While listening to some older homestuck albums, specificly mobius trip and hadron kaleido, I realized that Bowman should move away from homestuck and make his own original content. That could give him a chance to get a bigger audience and grow a bit as a band.

Sounds like someone doesn't know how artistic works in fandoms operate. He HAS a big audience because of homestuck, it benefits his notoriety greatly to make stuff for homestuck, It's a well known fact that if you want to get known as an artist one of the best ways is to do stuff for a fandom, where it will be seen by huge amounts of people.
Yeah Ithaca was amazing Bowman should definitely become famous for more than just ironically covering songs from cheesy action movies

I know a few people that liked his music but got thrown of, mostly due to the crazy fandom and due to them not being interested in the comic. Because he sticks to homestuck his artistic talent is limited because people want him to do the same thing.
If you ever want to grow as an artist then you must experiment regardless of what people think.
