I tried, I couldn't recreate the effect because of the size of the image, so I did my best to make it look not terrible. [t]http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/063/3/2/glitchy_wankery_wallpaper_by_scoopss-d5x0dd3.jpg[/t]

If there was a rating option for freaky, I'd give this picture that rating. It's so cool looking in a bizarre way.
Finally got around to trying this out. I put in bits of a story I wrote a long time ago. I think it turned out well.
I never figured out what effect does the RGB Split effect.
I never figured out what effect does the RGB Split effect.
I didn't use Audacity. I converted the photo to a RAW file and then edited it with notepad. This produces a different effect than editing a PNG with Notepad++, and unsyncs the RGB business.
Found this wallpaper and put it through the MACHINE [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6438288/FireStorm%20Productions/Backgrounds/wallpaper-151808glitched.png[/t]
I never figured out what effect does the RGB Split effect.
If you export the image to RAW in a non-interlaced order and then edit it in Audacity/Notepad and return those again in non-interlaced order, youll get something like that
If you export the image to RAW in a non-interlaced order and then edit it in Audacity/Notepad and return those again in non-interlaced order, youll get something like that
do you have any idea of what to do to make it sort of push/wrap parts of an image? Idk how to describe it properly, but like what you had happen here. [t]http://i.imgur.com/fDt7T.jpg[/t] unless that was just something that happened when you were mixing the two images together. but there are others in here that got the effect as well.
Im not completely sure as to what you mean by that. For that one I just exported 2 images in RAW and then cut parts and switched between them in Audacity.

Just made a test one, now to find pictures of stuff in a white background
that's a really awesome effect, are you doing things listed outside the OP to get the cuts like that? i'm still playing around with it. i personally quit using audacity, pictures generally only ends up a pile of static mess using it. this first is just after adding random bits in places. [t]http://i.imgur.com/WqFslTn.png[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/zhPsnzn.png[/t] this second one was somehow gotten after adding lots of spaces in one area? it split it from r/b to r/g/b I suppose.
this is fun alright

Ive been playing with this thing for quite a while, started when the thread started so I can predict a few things and what to do to get a certain effect. For example, on mine it was simply exporting them in an interlaced order in RAW and then cutting and pasting them in Audacity (no more than 2 cuts though) and you get something like that. Of course, you have to try it a couple of times until you get a good cut.
Just added a few words into the picture with Notepad++. Nothing else
I have no idea if I did it right [t]http://i.imgur.com/OgdTd6W.jpg[/t]
What do ya think?
[img_thumb]http://i47.tinypic.com/wb9n2s.jpg[/img_thumb] Would I kindly not fuck up this city? [img_thumb]http://i50.tinypic.com/2ur89c5.jpg[/img_thumb] Nope. [editline]edit[/editline] This is really interesting. I ran this through Notepad++ and stuck in some of Andrew Ryan's quotes all over it. I'm not sure how it turned out the way it did. It looks like the strips are shifted to the right, and the rightmost parts of the image just returned to the left side. Neat.

And also, how do you do the 3 channels thing? When I open the file in Photoshop, this shows up but nothing about the 3 channels.
